OP, You appear to have possibly misunderstood the process.
I renewed 2 x 5years licenses a couple off weeks ago in Pattaya.
Just to clear up a couple of things. You cant make an online appointment as that is only for Thais with an id card, Book an appointment with Thai ID and you have an appointment to be processed, tested etc with a bunch of Thais, in Thai. You can make an appointment for a foreigner group with the lady at the top of the stairs, .
It appears you queued up to have documents checked and make an appointment. (as your Thai appointment didn't mean anything) I believe you cannot just turn up and queue to do license renewal. If the lady said July appointment, that is your appointment for license renewal.
At The DLT there are two things you do, reflex/vision test and watch a video, test and video one time only to cover two licenses. I wouldn't bother with a driving school if they want you to do test or video 2 times. just do the test/video once at the DLT.
I cant understand why they have sent you down the road to do this, as it wont get you any closer to license renewal at the moment.
You appear not to realise the DLT is not doing license renewals at the moment, if you turn up next week, the same will happen, queue to see the lady upstairs, they will tell you to come back in July.
Medical cert, driving school certificate etc will probably be out of date in july.

Ok thanksWe have an Asgatec GM6500 which is going strong after 6 years of cutting 1.5 Rai every other week (we have a man who does it of course).
This model isn't made any longer but Agastec are worth looking at in this price range.

You can get another 15 % of that price , mower looks good but wanted to know if anyone had one and if it was a good mower .7.5 HP OHV & 3mm deck sounds good, I’d want to see it though.

Why use Sattahip for the koh Chang ferry when the main customer base is in Pattaya, makes no sense at all.
If you have to make arrangement for transport from Pattaya to Sattahip you might just as well go all the way down to Trat and take the ferry there.
I agree and costing baht 10,000 for 4 people its cheaper to catch the ferry from trat

I sold my house 5 years ago with a faring estate agent on second road. He sold my house for 3 million baht and told me the 5% agents fee would be paid for by the buyer . I never met the buyer until a year after he bought my house just by chance visiting an old neighbour , I was then shocked to find out he paid 3.5 million for my house . Next time I will use a Thai company , I have since seen the English estate agent driving around in a big new Mercedes. So I totally agree with your comment they are dishonest .
The 5% asking price for agent's commission in Thailand is patently absurd, but it is only an asking price and is open to negotiation. Why is it so high? Simply because some people are stupid enough to pay it.
Generally agents in Thailand (especially the farang ones) are an untrained, unqualified, dishonest, incompetent bunch of layabouts who could never hold down a real job if their lives depended on it. I dare say that amongst the dross there are some decent ones, but I haven't met any of them.
As foreigners are prohibited from working in the Thai property market, by definition they must be dishonest.- 1

HI
just been to pattaya klang driving center which is very near to the land and transport office where u get your driving license. I arrived at 8.00 am signed in to do a 1 hour video training (not have to watch video just play on your phone ) they took my photo and gave me a certificate to say i had done my training, i took that over the road to the transport office with my resident certificate , medical certificate ect walked straight into the office no queue , sat down for 5 mins then did eye test brake test and then paid for my license had my photo took , 5 min later (10.00 am ) on my way home , 550 baht for training certificate but took just 2 hours to get licence ????
