Not a parent to young children, are you?
The idea that children should be vaccinated to protect weak adults is obscene.

Do you vaccinate her against flu every year? Influenza is unquestionably more dangerous to children than covid. Do some research, avoid all media (including this forum) for a while and think...

"Travellers who have recovered from COVID-19 should also get fully vaccinated"
So a fit health person who passed over this virus need a vaccination to do what???
Make profit for the drug companies, who in turn can keep this fake pandemic going on as long as possible.. No other reason.

We're relocating to Phuket with 2 young kids. Good choice of international schools, both primary and secondary. Also considered Krabi but decided on Phuket due to beaches, entertainment & activities available.

Except for the fact the virus travels on droplets of water in the breath of those who infected.
The size of the virus is therefore the wrong measure.
A link to the study you have referred to might be useful in your response.

FYI masks do nothing to limit aerosol viruses (like Sars-Cov19) from spreading, it's pure theather. Wearing one outside is beyond stupid. The idea with a surgical mask is to limit bacterial transmission. Corona virus particles are far too small for the fabric to do any good. But don't take my word for it - look it up yourself!
That's one of the reasons why this virus seems to be so easily transmissable: governments all over the world insist on taking measures that do not work. Wearing a mask will only give a false sense of security, making people ignore social distancing. And it's harmfull for your overall health as mentioned in earlier posts.
But I'm not suggesting to stop wearing masks where it is required by law, as it's not worth the hassle to be attacked by the misinformed sheep around you.
Brilliantly said. Another study released just days ago confirms surgical masks are not suitable..The best description I heard was likening it to throwing sand at a chain link fence.

Beaches are shut. Condo pools are shut. Seriously, save your money until Pattaya is at least half way open again.
I go to Phuket. Beaches are open. Have many friends there who I speak with on a regular basis.

And what do you plan on doing? Nothing is open. Serious question - what do you think you will do here?
Same as I always do. Beach, read a few books & relax.

Don't they have vaccines available?
Seems idiotic to travel unvaccinated.
I'm sure they have vaccines available. Perhaps he's able to understand data, make decisions / risk analysis regarding his health by himself, instead of blindly following pharma salesmen on tv. Perhaps?

Don't listen to the doomsday old gits on here.. if you are healthy you have nothing to worry about. I'm also planning on travelling to Thailand in October as I believe the rules on entry are due to be updated then. Good luck.

PCR typically at 35 cycles. Anything above 25 is deemed non-infectious. The term "cases" greatly overused. Sources include Carl Heneghan of Oxford University & many contributors to HART group UK.

If you had Covid 19 more than 6 months ago you might be wasting your money. I had an anti-body test in early 2021 because I thought I had Covid 19 in 2020 but test came back negative.
Due to T-cell immunity, many people do not produce antibodies after contracting SARS-CoV-2, therefore an antibody test is not as reliable as one would imagine in detecting prior infection.

They most certainly are not.
The flu virus is nothing like a corona virus in any way whatsoever.
Cold viruses however are.. easy to mix up

Prime example Try suing Bitcoin
Well do not think BTC is beyond the grasp of governments and the financial institution.
HSCB in the UK has no stopped allowing withdrawal of Crypto into any of their bank accounts and this is just the start of regulation for BTC and other cryptos.
Also you may of missed it but Christine Lagard just made some comments that should be very disturbing for BTC users.
The whole reason RIPPLE were sued is because they are a US company XRP is a stand alone blockchain that will continue even if Ripple went out of business tomorrow.
The FLARE network will launch shortly and they are bringing in LTC which gives LTC instant usability.
Most people know nothing about XRP and Ripple and how they work together and it shows.I know all about Ripple and understand why some think it will be the next big thing.
I am not one of those people, but good luck to you. I honestly hope all crypto's do well, including XRP.
I also know about recent EU (Lagarde) / HSBC news.. I receive updates every hour.
Gov pressure (EU / central banks trying to gain control) will only increase the demand for BTC.

My thoughts..
BTC - Always be dominant crypto. Many big time investors now appreciate potential 100k +
XMR - Privacy coin. Not just for 'drug dealers' as previously mentioned. Crypto's take the power away from central banksters.
ARRR - Another undervalued privacy coin with huge potential.
ETH / BCH / LTC - Steady & trusted with Paypal rollout.
XRP prime example why centralized is a NO NO - Try suing Bitcoin!
Check out 'Crypto Vigilante' - Best I've found for solid advice
Hope this helps

The problem is that Thailand has one of the worst road tolls in the world and would FIFA want to risk the lives of teams by bringing them here , I personally wouldn't but that just my opinion .
There were player safety concerns leading up to the Brazil World Cup. Murders and kidnapping are more of a worry than car crashes. Besides, the routes to and from stadia would be cleared for the teams to pass through.

Brunei?
To look at it realistically, only Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore (possibly Viet Nam at a stretch) have the stadia possibly good enough to host such a tournament. Though the pitches and climate won't rule in their favour.
Even were the tournament divided up between the above states, where would that leave the likes of Cambodia, Burma and Laos?
It's a nice idea, a nice soundbite to impress the public, but won't happen.
I doubt all Asean nations will be forced to sign up. Perhaps only the one's with capabilities would agree to it. Personally I think it's a good thing.

So why is US trying to get in with Venezuela, North Korea another summit coming, China and so on. If you dont like world politics then get out of the kitchen. Australia's main trading partner and support is China; does that make Australia communist???
Russia is still communist in all but name. Democracy will only truly take effect once the current former Soviet generation has died, in another 20 to 30 years! Having spent long periods in Ukraine I've seen the political influences first hand around election times.
The US is not trying to get in with any of those mentioned above.. Venezuela is a country in turmoil with potential easy access to oil. North Korea is a threat to Asian business neighbours (South Korea). The US has imposed massive tariffs on China. Australia has done business with China out of necessity (raw material exports) and geographical convenience.

Can 12years+ Thais been vaccinated?
in COVID-19 Coronavirus
Posted
<deleted>. That is based on the theory of asymptomatic transmission, which has almost zero scientific merit. If a person, adult or child, is symptomatic, the remedy is to stay in bed until recovered - i.e. isolate. A healthy child or adult poses no threat to others... The vaccine protects the vulnerable. Looks like you've lapped up the big pharma nonsense.
