I am looking for german or European food.

For example bread, saussages or cheese.

The things from BigC are not what I am really looking for.

And the northern farms variety is mostly too expensive.

Does anybody have a hint for me???

Sorry, I am not Thomas, but when you want to reach No.1 Hamburger, you find it on the way from CEI to Mae Sai. You only have to turn left in the first Soi behind Bandu Market. And after about 150 meters you see a big sign to your left.

There it is...

You can meet there people during the week anyway, but the biggest crowd is there at sundays, because then the fresh bread and so on arrived...

By the way, I forgot to post, that the idea for a chiang rai forum is great.

Does anyone know any farang women who live in Chiang Rai?  And by any chance, are they in their 20s or early 30s?

Also, are there any teaching jobs going at the moment, in town or out towards Mae Lao (Wat Rong Khun area)?  I'm not sure who to contact, any help would be apperciated.

here are several Falang women living around... About their age I'm not shure.

One French woman lives and has a shop at the Karen-Elephant-Village.

There are many Americans living here also Some of them you can contact sometimes at No. 1 Hamburger. (look for the Thread "Pumpernickel and Rollmops" for the description how to find it)

If you are looking for a job as a teacher why don't you go directly to the universities???

T-Net/TT&T now have a broadband package offer, Maxnet, 590 baht, 256/128 speed including free modem if you sign up for a year.

This seems to be very good value but I have been reading some bad press about it.Any comments please?

I have the 512/256-Connection.

But many of my friends ordered the smaller one.

Till now everybody is fine with his broadband.

When you only want to use internet the normal way (email & surfing with a few smaller downloads) you should be very happy with this connection.

OK, sometimes there are a few problems. But anyway it is the best choice for now.

By the way, TRUE-Internet (well known from BKK) has an office beside ITD-Plaza.

Perhaps they offer another choice.
