  1. Yea, not even really seeing any of the "more expensive" ones having dinner buffets, they all just seem to have breakfast.
  2. My wife has her birthday coming up and she LOVES buffets. We are in Sisaket and I wanted to take her somewhere for a nice buffet, possibly in a hotel. I know there are a few in Nakhon Ratchasima but that's a long drive. Ubon is less than 2 hours away and she has some friends that way so figured I'd look there. I've googled without much success, mostly finding breakfast buffets at hotels and than the typical "shabu" places. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  3. My last time in Thailand 2013 ish, had a friend who owned a business. Had to pay the local police 10k baht a month "protection" money. Then his business got more popular and police from another (precinct) came by and demanded money also. Think he was paying close to 20k baht a month... To the RTP, just to stay in business. And I believe operate out of normal times also. Point is, that's one case from 10 years ago. And I clearly remember learning about "brown envelopes" and "tea money" back then. Also I just got my visa extension... Not just the RTP when it comes to the envelopes.
