So Kevin would you rather crash at 100 k or 150 k ? And who says the driver fell asleep ? I don't think anyone left alive could voice an opinion , he may have just lost it due to excessive speed ! Road or narcotic .

Maybe limit the engines to 100 k thats more than most countrys allow public vehicles , or would that be too simple a solution ? It would save operators a small fortune in fuel more than is made by getting to their destination 30 mins sooner (or not at all )

Yingluck indicted for violating charter in rice-pledging scheme
BANGKOK: -- National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) on Thursday unanimously agreed to indict former premier Yingluck Shinawatra for allegedly having intent to exercise power against Article 178 of the Constitution concerning rice-pledging scheme.
NACC will forward the case to the Senate to seek Yinglucks impeachment. If found guilty, Yingluck, who was removed from the premiership on Wednesday over abuse of power over unlawful transfer of an official, will be banned from politics for five years.
The anti-graft agency will further investigate to decide whether to take criminal charge against Yingluck for allegedly dereliction of duty under Section 157 of the Criminal Court and Negligence of duty under the Commission Act BA 2542.

Seatbelts are a start BUT what about a speed restricting device on mini buses ? I was recently on a trip where the driver went flat out in all gears and surely was topping 130 kph where ever possible , apart from dangerous to all concerned he must have burned 30% more fuel than required and may have saved 15 mins on a 200 km hellride ! This was a month ago i wonder if he is still alive and how many souls he will take along for the final skid !
