  1. It reminds me of the old British joke about a pommie traveler interogated by Australian Immigration official with the question"do you have a criminal record?" To which the Brit replies, "is it still compulsory?"
  2. This could be another crazed scheme to create jobs and revenue for "agents" who will facilitate the opening of bank accounts.
  3. Bogus lawsuit. She is probably making money from social media from this issue. It will be interesting to see if a US court allows the case to proceed because if the jurisdiction of US law is accepted for this case it opens up US companies to a sh!tstorm of similar lawsuits by entities outside the USA.
  4. You said "You mention 32 page application.". That is a blatant lie. I commend you to read the posts again.
  5. The 5000 THB super urgent service appears grossly excessive. Any applicant that required 7 days or less service for VFS visa service would be foolish to trust the IB online service based on past performance where the service time for online 90-day reports is variable at best with times from 1 to more than 10 days evident. Visa fee: 1,900 THB Service fee as following: • Regular Service fee: 500 THB to get your e-Extension decision within the next 7 business days. • Express Service fee: 1,500 THB to get your e-Extension decision within the next 3 business days. • Super urgent service fee: 5,000 THB *You can also apply for a super urgent service, to get your e-Extension decision within the next day (only business day).
  6. Other countries don't charge a fee for the online service other than the visa fee. It can be deduced it is a ripoff if the entity charges more to get it done quicker. It is obviously a scam to rip off people who are late with their application and need quick consideration. The other aspect of document submissions is that IB asks for the submission of information that it already has. It also asks for photographs despite the fact they take digital photographs at the interview. The visa process would be smoother and shorter if they did not require submission of documents they already have in IB files. The IB previously asked for a swathe of documents with the 90-day report application by mail. Since the online service, IB only asks for the online application form submission and no other documents. That is proof that the swathe of documents they had previously requested with 90-day report submissions by mail was unnecessary. A visa extension requires the submission of 14 pages of documents which appears excessive.
  7. I would expect IB to make it clear the categories that can be extended online. But they don't. I tried the VFS online service but it didn't work or have a selection for retirement. You have to work through the online extension and find out it doesn't work when you try to find the selection for retirement as a visa type selection. It appears that VFS is less than a professional service and is probably an ex-IB official making money from his knowledge and contacts within IB. Other countries have such online services which actually work and make life easier.
  8. You appear to be an apologist for the IB. Do you receive benefits for your services?
  9. There are plenty of ASEANNOW members who are prepared to defend or trivialize incompetence by the IB.
  10. The IB has failed again. Their email service notice 15 days before a 90-day report is due failed. The latest was due 6 days ago for me, and it didn't happen. The IB quality of service has failed again. The IB cannot be trusted.
  11. The Immigration Bureau email alert of 90 day report due failed to send me an email which was due 6 days ago. The IB always stuffs something up. They can't maintain quality of service. The IB cannot be trusted.
  12. The Immigration Bureau email alert of 90 day report due failed to send me an email which was due 6 days ago. The IB always stuffs something up. They can't maintain quality of service. The IB cannot be trusted.
  13. The Immigration Bureau email alert of 90 day report due failed to send me an email which was due 6 days ago. The IB always stuffs something up. They can't maintain quality of service. The IB cannot be trusted.
  14. If the perpetrator and his associates posted multiple bad reviews without cause this is a clear case of defamation that was intent on causing harm to the business. If the allegations against him are proven, the guy should be prosecuted for defamation and then sued for damages.
  15. I received approval 20230816 at 8 pm. I didn't see it until next day20230817. I did complain 3+ times by email.
  16. My 90-day report lodged 20230807 was finally approved 20230816 overnight. It appears they are working beyond normal business hours because the published time of approval was after 8:00 PM.
  17. The web site for 90-day reporting was down for only one day and the fact that officials are able to register 90-day reports at CW on their computer terminals points to something other than a computer or network failure. The IB has a pattern of disturbances to their operations over the years that have disrupted the online reporting process. This current disruption appears to be a human disruption to the online reporting process.
  18. I confirm that. I was able to log in and see status. However, no movement on approvals. It is still pending. The 90-day report process is a disgrace ever since it was implemented.
  19. I submitted a report on 20230807 and checked it daily on subsequent days until 20230815 when online 90-day reporting site stopped working. So, its only been offline for a day.
  20. The Thai Immigration Bureau continues to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. It can't keep the 90-day online reporting system operating successfully for more than 12 months at a time. The poor souls that have to read and check these reports must be bored to death of their jobs.
  21. I submitted a 90-day report online 0n 7 August 2023 and received acknowledgment of receipt of the application on the same day. However I have still not received approval by 20230815. In the past it had been approved in 1-3 days. Something is wrong again with Thai Immigration. Also, the 90-day reporting website is not working today.
  22. Perhaps his parents were hoping he wouldn't find his way back to his US home.
  23. When this new 90-day online reporting process first started it had an automatic email message system that alerted the user 15 days before the due report date. However this now appears to have ended and I did not receive an email alert before the last due date. I also do not understand why it takes two days to get the report approved when it is approved in one minute for reporting in person. Why does online need to be slower? Is it just to create an annoyance for the user?
  24. Could this be slavery or a new state of mind, Singburi Syndrome? Could other farangs become enraptured and captured by trash talk?
