No I am sure it's not possible ,I have a brother and an uncle over there and have looked into it many times .
We plan on going back over next year and my wife will study for a couple of years to gain a diploma in an occupation that is in short supply then she can extend her visa and work then apply for permanent residency that's the only way we can get over there now as I am over fifty she will be the main applicant .
We did start this process five years ago but the mrs fell pregnant so she couldn't carry on studying on we went back to Thai for a while.
Happy to help if you need anymore info

There are so many unpleasant remarks because there are so many unpleasant posters these days. Too many times now people ask a reasonable question which I thought this type of forum was for only to be caned for it
Agree totally

OP you ask "Why are there so many unpleasant remarks posted on TV?"....AND then you proceed to post an unpleasant remark about "old" people. So who's calling the kettle Black. ...Going to take a wild guess here ....Your young, uneducated, achieved nothing in your life, have no prospects.....generally you're a young loser with nothing better to do than disrespect your elders!
Get a life!
And it's started,, here we go ,let the nasty comments begin!!

It's quite a hassle and pretty costly from my experience.
You need an export licence up-to date vaccinations and a rabies serology test done to see if the dog has rabies antibodies in its system in which the blood is taken at a local vet and then sent to a lab in Germany for testing ,can take about a month for the results.
Good luck

My father was also a diplomat in Lagos from around 1962 until 65.
I was born there in 64 so are paths may have crossed if the dates are right, I guess you must have been there until 1962 ish.

Interesting,I was born in Lagos in 64 where my father was a diplomat also .
Not sure if the dates match up but we where there from 62 until around 1965 , I guess that you would have left around 62 .
May be my father knew yours if he worked for the British Embassy.

There's a Yamaha dealer just around the corner from the Ram hospital, they sell lots of nice motor bike accessories and clothing so I guess they should stock some decent gloves.
