  1. I am sure this issue is stressing many ex pats.

Being 73 this year and having pre existing conditions, obviously insurance is going to be an insane cost.

Does anyone know if the powers that be ,will allow an ex pat to have the 440,000 baht in a bonded account, in place of having to use nominated insurance companies.

This would obviously be a get out of jail card for many of us.

Plus no issues with pre existing conditions.

Does anyone know if for instance, the ex pats club are putting this idea to the powers that be?

    Feedback appreciated.

    Cheers.

  2. Ok as posted by other members, great PSA testing here, forget about UK!!!!

Watchful waiting by all means, BUT you have to help your body and immune system!!!

Need to check vitamin D levels, eliminate sugar, try for an alkaline diet.

    Plus supliments.

Strongly recommend you google, 'Curing cancer gently, by Bill Henderson', awesome guy!

This does come as an e book.

OK I spent about $25,000 usd trying to fight this naturally , critical you sort this before it gets out of the prostate capsule!

Not meaning to scare monger, but the sooner you start aggressive treatment the greater chance of success !

Mass of data on the Cyberknife patient forum.

The advantage of this is , radiation is directed to within a few mm of the tumor, this means no damage to adjacent organs!

  3. Hi OP, ok 3 years ago diagnosed PCA , PSA rose to 12.5 , gleason 8, t1 tumor,(very aggressive).

Despite I/V vitamin C , major diet and supplement regime, unable to slow this trend.

    Options, surgery or radiation.

I urge you to google 'Cyberknife', had mine at Beacon Hospital KL, two years ago.

    PSA 0.6, body functions normal!!!

    Very emotive subject!!!!

Bottom line, with surgery there will be a degree of ED and incontinence.

Please check out on the Cyberknfe patient forum, under prostate.

This can be done in BKK , cheaper than KL.

The top man , seems to be Dr Katz in New York.

This is a scary nightmare for us males, especially those who wish to retain body function.

I am to date, so glad I went down this path.

    Wishing you all the best.

    Regards,

    Mick

  4. As a past prostate cancer suffer, I would urge sufferers to check out Cyberknife.

This unlike robotic ot ither surgery.will still leave you potent and nit incontinent!!!!

Non invasive! Had mine done at Beacon clinic KL.

    Google for full info.

PSA down from 12.5 to .6.

    Cheers.

  5. Welcome to Chiang Mai!

We arrived in Feb from Auckland.

I would advise renting a car to get around, Avis were offering 15000 baht a month.

    Get yourselves a Navman!

Be aware driving can be challenging, scooters everywhere, pretty aggressive utes, don't think you all be going for a relaxing drive in town!!!!

Yes you do need transport to check out different areas.

We chose Doi Saket, country, but not too far from Central Festival and town.

If you like the look of this area, talk to the lovely people running Jasmine Hills Lodge, for a deal! Tawan court in Town , basic but about 700 baht a day, and close to the night market.

    Good luck.

    Cheers

  6. The dogs were shipped un sedated cargo and were fine. Critical thing is to have them arrive in BKK during norlal working hours. Would be easier if you had a direct flt to CNX.

Like shippibg from Auckland nothing direct. Patrick in fact boarded the dogs for two weeks and is highly recomended Hope this helps.Cheers.

  7. Ok we have recently shiped 2 mini Schnauzers from Auckland to CNX.

Now this does get complicated, re BKK transit due ,most flts arriving about 8pm when clearing authority staff have gone home. This means the animal will have to stay in the crate until the next day.

We had our dogs shipped Akk to KUL on MAS, then quick transit to BKK. Dogs were cleared by Patrick of K9 dogs BKK.

He will clear, care for the animals then on ship to CNX.

This gets obviously more complicated ,as possibly you are not picking the dog up at BKK before 1630! The cost for us with 2xdogs 9kg was about 5k nzd.
