  1. Anyone know of any pet friendly accommodation in central Bangkok? Preferably 1bedroom+ less than 20,000. Would prefer a condo with facilities close to mrt/bts as I need to commute out of town for work. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  2. Can someone please let me know exactly where to go and what I need to bring to get a police report done in Bangkok? I believe you have to go to the police station near central world (not sure where exactly). I have a letter from my precious employment in Thai. I think I can do this by bringing the letter along with my passport? I've never done one before, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  3. My case is a bit different. My landlord wouldn't translate the lease into English so I was uncomfortable signing it. I ended up with the signed copy and she did not. I tried asking her my option since my new job is 25km away and she didn't respond well. She went on about how I'm such a good tenant and she's in shock I'm doing this to her. I'm unsure if it's the language barrier. I was merely asking what my options are. If I can find a good renter to take over the lease, would I be able to get my two months deposit back etc. Any advice out there since I never legally signed the document. She does have copy of my passport. What can I do if my landlord refusing to give me option?? Do I have to legally stay?

  4. I've been thinking of getting my PGCEi to further my career as a teacher. I recognize this maybe completely useless once I go back to North America. The price at Keele university is 4,500£ for in-service teachers and Nottingham is 3,170£ which is quite a dramatic difference.

Anyone out there with any advice or taken the course before? Thanks!

  6. don't feel so bad. My previous schools used to make me go in all the time only to find out my kids are away camping. Thankful for not having to work. But thanks for making me wake up early, get dressed, commute to work and go home for fun!

  7. Dear ISAT Members,

Regarding the school opening, we have checked with the Permanent Secretary for Education, it is confirmed that all schools should open on Monday, 26 May. Should anything happen that would prevent this situation, ISAT will issue a further update to member schools but all reports we have had at this present time mean that all school in Thailand should be open on Monday.

  8. American chiropractor. Highly recommended. Works out of two offices. One on hua lampong mrt and the other on ramkenheang road. He has a really bad website but will give you all the information you need. Dr Chase Schneier. The Natural Health Center. 02-729-3699. Can't remember which Center that number is from. Good luck! :)
