So Thai registered trucks are driving through Vietnam all the way to the Chinese border? Somehow I doubt this, and that Thai trucks are actually being reloaded in Laos onto Vietnamese or Lao registrations and then driven through northern Vietnam to the Chinese border.
I can drive my pickup into Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Vietnam & China as I have a passport for my Thai registered pickup.
So I think that truck can do the same. ????

Correct. The WHO has handled this very poorly indeed. They handed out a lot of very poor advice which has undoubtedly made the situation worse.
However, many people have an irrational hate of Donald Trump so they will disagree. If Trump said water was wet they'd disagree. It's a shame they lack the ability to separate their emotions from the cold hard facts.

You are so right I was just about to write the same thing.
It's a shame they lack the ability to separate their emotions from the cold hard facts. So True

I can't see how the bike could have avoided that one given the speed he was going.
The motorcycle rider could be criticised for not slowing approaching a junction, someone with greater rider training and a mindset for 'defensive riding' may have reduced their speed approaching the junction.
The helmet saved his life.
Pickup driver still 100% at fault for this one.
Go back & look the bike is on the wrong side of the road & there are traffic lights at that intersection.
So many start pounding there key board without looking.

If you wish to work at a second location, then get it added to your WP.
You can work for 2 companies as long as they are on your WP.
On my work permit I can work any location in Thailand as that my job description.

When Seattle officials were considering cutting back on glyphosate, they sought advice from San Francisco, which began rolling out restrictions on chemical pesticides in 1997. Seattle’s not alone—tens of cities across the U.S. have recently cracked down on glyphosate use. In 2018, Portland, Maine, banned the chemical, and Austin, Texas, restricted it. This year, Miami and Los Angeles County approved their own bans on city property. Some cities, like Boston, avoid glyphosate on an unofficial basis. Others, like New York City, may be poised to ban it in the near future.

Yes you should surrender your W/P, but also if you are stepping from 1 job to the next job talk to the Labor Department.
You can get your new Employer added to W/P if you have the right paper work.
The Work Permit is your name not the Employers name.
Good luck

Sorry I'm not able to help, but 10 years ago I had 2 companies on my work permit.

The work permit is your's not your employer.
I would go to the labour department & talk to them that you have finish with the old employer & will be looking to start with a new employer
You can transfer your work permit talk to your New Employer transfer takes around 14 days if your new Boss has all the paper work ready. ????
Best if you have a lawyer do this work.

Some said they'd do it for 200 baht, charging 800 is getting close to the cost of an air-ticket!
Last month I payed 1,099b for a ticket Bangkok - Phuket return on VETAIR ????

So many say the pickup was going to fast, well look where the pickup stops 5-6 metres past the u=turn.
If he was going to fast he would end up 20-30 metres past the u-turn.

Thaivisa understands the labor department in Chiang Mai has not been issuing work permits for foreign volunteers, with immigration then saying "sorry, we can't issue you visas as you don't have a work permit", said the source.
Above don't sound right to me, as you need a to have Non B Visa before you can apply for a Work Permit.?

He can go visa exempt and come back to Penang with the document. I guess you don't think too much.
If you arrive in Thailand you can get a 30 day visa, if you have more than 15 day left on the visa, you can obtain a non/B here with in Thailand. This they don't tell you.

Look the impact area's in the side of the pickup & where the young boys are laying on the road.
RIP to the young men.

there are many instances of Thai drivers doing this for a shortcut, going to his girlfriends would indicate to me he was familiar with the road
how tragic
Go back to the OPs post & read it again before you start punching the key board
Witness Phataraphon, 24, said he was going to his girlfriend's house
The Witness was on his wait to the girl friends house, not the driver of the grey pickup

the hole in the wall is not right, as it looks if the has been hit from the room side where the canister is.
it'd like a bullet hits a water melon you have a small hole at the entry & large at the exit.
Thailand’s new 120km/h speed limit starts but 25,000 still killed on the roads annually

Do you drive in this Country as the speed limit is 90 kph not 110kph
Also the Chonburi motorway has been 120kph, for the 20 year that I have been in Thailand.
The only people winging are the one s that don't drive or can not drive.
