Ideally Thailand should increase the capacity of vocational schools for educating workers (can be ex-farmers) in these sectors. But as usual, who would pay for that.. Perhaps the tax base has to increase first.
Thailand has a lot of so called vocational schools. But in between shooting at others from a different vocational schools they don't seem to spend much time learning.
hey it takes a lot of skill to do that!

if i find i am in a town where these exist, i leave that town usually next day at the latest, and find a town where there arent enough farang to warrant them. they are bad news. put a whole bad attitude on the locality. sometimes i think they are sent by their respective govt to discourage tourists in thailand and hence save their own country money.
allowing these characters here was one of the worst decisions ever made by the thais.

Rumours?
"Since June 1st, 2014, about 40,000 Cambodian workers in Thailand have self-deported or have been forcibly removed from the country by the military junta. ADHOC investigators have received credible witness accounts up to nine Cambodian migrants have been killed, and that beatings have occurred at the hands of the Thai armed forces.. Unfortunately, in times of crisis in Thailand Cambodians are often scapegoated. Many Cambodian workers are now stranded at the border without enough money to get them home."

Cam-Thai border 37k have crossed as of today now zero transport available for tonight. Thousands stranded and sleeping in the open.
MT @IOMasiapacific: #IOM working all night with #Cambodia to get home 1000s of migrants returning from #Thailand
there are very many credible reports that ADHOC is anything but a credible organisation. as with the vast majority of these ngo types. its all about the money and nothing else. so if they can make up a story that brings them more money, any story will do. truth reality, whats that, when there is a new lexus to be had for the lie spinning?

I must admit my thoughts as to why I have never had a conversation with a Thai came down to this...
Thais are taught not to think or have an opinion on their own. It's pretty difficult to have a meaningful conversation with someone who was taught not to use his/her brain from an early age.
Sent from my GT-I9500 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
have you tried to wrap your "thinking " brain around thai language spoken or written?

Thais are the only nationality I have never really had a meaningful conversation with.....then why every other nationality in the world seems to trust me but not Thai's? No logic in your argument.
would you have a meaningful conversation with someone who was trying to steal your land? or someone you highly suspect to have overstayed their visa and should be reported to the police post haste?
is it safe to go to bkk
