  1. Well, I entered Thailand at DMK just the other day -- from Vietnam, I might add -- on the first of a double entry tourist visa, and they didn't ask to see any money. They almost didn't accept the visa though -- even when I showed a bank statement with the equivalent (in US dollars) of a lot more than B20,000.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHEN YOU SAY ''THEY ALMOST DIDN'T ACCEPT THE VISA THOUGH''..??????????????...

  2. I flew into Phuket on a second entry of a double entry TV last month. After waiting in line for an hour, due to what appeared to be heightened passport scrutiny, the I/O said "How long will you stay" I said "60 days". He got a little nasty and raised his tone and said "You here 90 day already". I replied "Exactly, and now I am entering on the same visa for another 60 days". Slightly baffled, he deflated and stamped but seems to me this conversation and the posturing was uncalled for as my passport is clean as a whistle.

at least you go into Thailand with no real problems.

  3. Known issue.

    Remove the CVT case.

    Replace the rollers (weights) (1)

Than disassemble the flywheel clutch and clean the clutch linings (2) and the inside of the flywheel (3) with medium sandpaper. (Important!)

Check the clutch springs for damage. (4)

Clean everything painstakingly with compressed air.

    Sorted. wink.png

  6. No, the Tourist Visa is dead when you exit Thailand and has nothing to do with the "B" Visa. Take the documents provided by the company, go to a Consulate outside Thailand and apply for the new visa. I don't where you guys come up with the term "convert", they are separate visas, separate actions involved and they have nothing to do with each other..

Beechguy, i say convert because i will have 3 more months left on my double entry tourist visa when i apply for a non b visa.

  7. And if previously divorced you will need the original divorce document. Current cost at UK embassy for a consular official to look at your paperwork and stamp said affidavit is just over 3,000b (about 3 minutes work) then off to get translated into Thai and off to get officially confirmed at Changwattana. A further 1,800b (translation company took documents to Changwattana) then when everything back off to the local Amphur office to get officially married (20b I think)

Sent from my XT1032 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

    thanks for the information.

my friend was not married before so no need for divorce papers.
