Why do get more for hiding money than "hiding a corpse" unless I've misread
-
It is absolutely against the law to reap personal benefits from state property and public property. This is considered a form of corruption, the commissioner stated.
They've (the state) have been doing it for years

No suprise!! They bring forward original plea court case by 3 hours - and defendants not there - now bring forward court case by 2 months after prosecution wasted months collecting "evidence" and give defence lawyers just a few weeks to read everything - and try and defend 2 possibly innocent guys - what a joke!!!! And just before the UK report is released in Jan - I sense major stitch up

I think there is a little bit of the video - showing someone else in the driving seat as well - - still not right but but Thailand is Thailand. Always expect the unexpected
-
Maybe I'm being naive - most probably! Why do the Thai police always say they are going to arrest someone before they actually do? No use closing the stable door after the horse has bolted - arrest the person first - take away his/her passport then inform the media - not the other way round - no guarantee they will not still flee - but if no passport then as part of ASEAN they illegal and can be returned to home soil

Good on the airline and for her

If they are tourists and if they have travel insurance - wouldn't this cover any medical bills?

Guess in LOS - you pay for a place to live and then told "oh sorry - we f***ed up and went "bust" so you must pay more money" What a joke

If you are foreign - can you donate blood in Thailand - I'm either AB + or AB - ( which I think is not common ) I used to donate all the time in UK and would like to do same here - any helpline number etc much appreciated

Occasionally you do get the "Tourist Police" posting in English - not often and you would think as Tourist Police most posts / adverts would not be in Thai but LOS!!

Shame that not a single student that I teach doesn't know the "old" name of Thailand or any of the teachers (including the over 40's)

So as "foreign" men have been arrested recently for "scamming" Thai ladies - will she get the same treatment and be arrested when they find her or it is ok for a Thai to rip off a farang but not the other way round?
-
Not sure about websites and where you live - but on FB there is Chiangmai buy and sell - they sell everything including motors there - and nearly all expats - might be worth you looking at
-
How exactly are they going to arrest people? DNA the lanterns or dust for fingerprints? At least tell us how far we have to be from airport to release them and does the wind direction matter?
-
We have a " little lady " in Nakhon Sawan ( about 8-10 ) who sells the roses and speaks some English but usually we give her the cost of the rose but not take flower and say go sell flower elsewhere but she says can't - owners get angry - very sad !!!

If you need new passport - you have to make appointment by email at the Trendy Building Sukhamvit Soi 13 near Nana BTS in bangkok - this is at least a month waiting for appointment- then you go there and if all documents ok expect 6-9 weeks for your new passport to arrive and you go back to bangkok to collect it
