Try Googling 'Beach Camping in Thailand' or 'Beach Camp Sites in Thailand'.
I did find this beach camping article which maybe be of interest: https://iamkohchang.com/activities/camping-wai-chaek-beach.html
I live in Hua Hin and I know that there are several beach camp sites in Cha Am and Pranburi which are located in the west coast of the Gulf of Thailand. They be probably be pretty much desserted until the weekend Bangkok city crowd arrives.
Good Luck

These vote numbers referenced in the article reflect Bangkok voters only…not all of Thailand.

How embarrassing and pathetic is this photo of 8 Thai cops trying to subdue 1 drunk moran using what looks like recycled pool cleaning equipment. No wonder cops here are a laughing stock with pictures like these.
The American way of apprehending this guy would have involved 8 cops emptying their revolvers…reloading and emptying them again…then claiming they feared for their lives.
As an American…I prefer the Thai Police manner of handling simple disturbances.

Is it illegal to lounge and drink a beer you were sold by a beach chair vendor? Or, is it illegal to bring your own beer and sit on the sand and drink?

I am curious about the Affidavit from the Embassy. I am American and have been divorced for 15 years. Do I have to prove I am divorced to the US Embassy? I do not have the divorce papers. They were destroyed in a flood. When you are at the Embassy do you just swear that you are divorced…or do you have to have divorce documents…or is there an informational database the US Embassy can query to confirm my divorce?

I can image the total mayhem this is going to cause at the airport arrivals. People are going to be completely confused. How will Thailand deal with all the questions that will be asked by confused arrivals? Will you have to buy this policy before passing through Immigration? How will you know if you need to buy this insurance or not? Can you imagine all the arriving passengers reading an Insurance document and trying to understand all the fine print? Will one policy cover a family or will you have to have separate policies for each family member? Where will you fill out the forms for the Insurance? So many questions...
Can you imagine an Airbus 380 landing, then dealing with the 540 passengers. Now add multiple flights landing about the same time with thousands of passengers. I see total confusion and mayhem at the airports.

I live in Hua Hin. I did my 90-Day Online Report this morning at 7:00AM. Logging in and inputting my data went smoothly and took about 2 minutes to submit. I received the message at the end that I had successfully submitted my data.
I immediately received an email which indicated I had an attachment to the email. The email stated I had successfully submitted my information and to download and print the attachment and keep a copy in my passport.
But…NO ATTACHMENT in the email????????????. I logged back into the 90-Day Notification Online site to check my status. It showed my status as “Pending”.
I will wait till later today and see if I get a follow-up email or check my status online to see if it is updated.

I am curious. If you buy a home or condo in Thailand using crypto currency and later try to sell the property…how do you prove that the original purchase was with funds transferred from abroad?
My understanding is that you have to show you purchased property with funds from abroad.
Is my understanding incorrect?

They have yet to perfect the "stay at home and send the money visa", but are sure with enough effort they can crack this one.
They already have that Visa...it's called the "Bar Girl Visa".
Very simple to obtain...no paperwork...no visits to Immigration. Any bar girl can issue this Visa.

What ever happened to the Department of Fake News that was created about 2 years ago. Seems like this would have been something they should or could have weeded out.

I registered for the vaccine at Market Village location. I am 64. I was not given an appointment date. I was given a green card with 3 barcodes to scan (for LINE, Facebook and Hua Hin Hispital).
I was told I can scan one of the barcodes and it would show an appointment for a vaccine. I have tried scanning every few days since I registered in early June. I am taken to an all Thai website. Using Google translate I have determined that Hua Hin Hospital run out of vaccines and has not been scheduling appointments for several weeks.
Has anyone else in Hua Hin had a similar experience?

I tried a 7-11 plant-based hamburger last week. It tasted better than the 7-11 pork burgers I normally eat. I was pleasantly surprised. Also, if I recall correctly, the price was 38 baht vs 35 baht for the pork burger.

I thought I recently read that you needed a medical certificate. Is that the case? Is a medical certificate required?

I suspect this travel Exodus out of Bangkok is going to cause "herd infections" vs "herd immunity". Sad????

370 million Thai baht is almost $12 million US dollars.
How long was this scam in operation to collect that much money? How did the Police arrive at that figure? How many people were scammed? Where is the money now?

Mailed my application in on 11 September. Already back and updated 29 September by immigration. Super easy, far better than the old trip into ACS by appointment.
Which mail delivery service did you use? I am scared to death of having my passport lost in the mail.

I can confirm that neither the Immigration app or the online website are working. In fact, they have not been working for at least 2 weeks.
I tried to do my 90-Day reporting using both the app and online for the past 2 weeks. Finally had to go physically to Immigration.
I just checked...both the app and the online website are not working.
As usual...great job Immigration and the officials in charge of running the agency and the various branches.

Ya, just look at the state of Sihanoukville. Bought and paid for now.
Yes...that is exactly what I was thinking. When you take investment money from the Chinese, you are selling your sole.

I am surprised nobody mentioned that Pattaya is seeking Chinese investment. Be very careful Pattaya officials. Chinese do not just give money away freely...they expect something big in return.

I don't want to rent a hotel and just sleep in my tent on a beach. Should I be afraid of police?

I am pretty sure that these ‘beach camp sites’ are free (or possibly a nominal fee). But further research on his part would bear this out.
