  1. I am contacting all members of Thai Visa as I need your help.

Everybody knows, that Samsung has very big problems with the exploding batteries of their mobile telephones Samsung Note 7!

But why does Samsung hide the fact, that they have probably problems with all batteries of their mobile telephones? Also my Samsung Galaxy S6 edge plus has exploded on 16.10.2016 again under the full 1 year warranty of Samsung.

As I do not accept the decision of Samsung, Thailand to repair my Samsung Galaxy S6 edge plus (all Samsung Note 7 with exploding batteries are reimbursed by Samsung) I first wrote a registered letter to Samsung Head Office in South Korea. I know that they have received this registered letter. But I did not even get an acknowledgement of this registered letter from Samsung Head Office in South Korea, nor a reply from them on this registered letter. Than I wrote a second registered letter to Samsung Head Office in Bangkok, Thailand. Same thing. No acknowledgement of receipt and no reply by Samsung Head Office in Bangkok, Thailand.

Next I have contacted more than 10 Law companies in Bangkok by e-mail, asking them, if they could assist me with my problems with Samsung Thailand and if necessary to go in a law suite before Thai tribunals. Same thing. I did not get one reply from these Law companies in Bangkok.

Therefore I am contacting you, in order to know, if you know a Thai Lawyer who is able and willing to assist me with my problems against Samsung, Thailand. If you know such a Thai Lawyer, than please kindly let me know by return.

Thank you all in advance for your kind assistance in this matter.

    Best regards.

  2. Since more than 3 years the Bureau of Immigration of Thailand is proposing to make the 90 days extension over the Internet. But for more than 3 years this site is not working correctly. Eigther you will be informed that their is a certification error with this site and it is not recommended to continue to use this site. If you disregard this warning and you continue on this site, some time this site is working and sometimes you can wait for hours for nothing. This is the only website in Thailand not working properly and correctly.

Is the Bureau of Immigration of Thailand not able to set up an website working correctly for all those who would like to make their 90 days extension over the Internet?

  3. The City Hall of Pattaya wasted a lot of money on red and white colors to paint expensive parking restrictions on certain streets within the city limit of Pattaya.

But most foreign drivers, who are guests in Thailand, especially drivers from Europe, do not know, that this red/white painting represents Thai traffic rules, means parking in this area is forbidden for every vehicle, as in their home country a simple inexpensive yellow line painted alongside the street has the same meaning.

For Thai drivers, even if they are aware of the existence of Thai traffic rules, for them it is a national sport to break every existing Thai traffic rule.

And the police in Pattaya, who should do everything, to have these Thai traffic rules respected, does nothing at all. I have never seen a police officer in Pattaya fining a car parked in a forbidden area.

The City Hall of Pattaya must never complain that they have not enough money. The money is lying on the streets of Pattaya. If you drive once from Pattaya on Thappraya Road direction Sattahip until Sukhumvit Road and back to Pattaya and count the cars which are parked in forbidden areas, then the City Hall of Pattaya has only to ask their police to fine these wrongly parked car drivers in the city limit of Pattaya with at least THB 500.00 and the City Hall will get rich.

To avoid thoughtless drivers parking their cars again in forbidden areas, the police only have to withdraw the driving license of the faulty driver after the third fine of THB 500.00 for at least 3 months. These drivers, parking their cars in forbidden areas are contributing a lot to the traffic congestion in Pattaya, as they take away one whole traffic lane for their parking.

Drivers of privately operated buses are not only parking most of the time in forbidden areas, but they are also sleeping in their buses, of course with the air-conditioning switched on to have a certain comfort. And for the air-conditioning to work, they must have the motors of their buses running all night. Thanks to all such bus drivers for the air pollution in Pattaya. You only have to clean your table on the balcony or on the terrace every day with a white tissue paper in order to know how dirty the air in Pattaya is.

Why the police in Pattaya is only looking to give a fine to motorcycle drivers and no fines for wrong parked cars?

  4. Did you look in this pinned topic. Online 90 day reporting available from April 1st

Just start at the last page and go back a few pages and you find some successful reports.

You do not have to use IE to do the report. The IE Tab extension for Chrome and Firefox works good and in some cases better than IE.

Hello, I did the 90 days reporting already 2 times with IE over Thai Immigration Bureau. Worked fine. But on 01.05.2016 I applied for the third time an extension and the application has been accepted as pending. Today, 04.05.2016, when I would like to check if the application has been finally approved and I go to the the Thai Immigration Bureau and click as usually on the link : Apply for Notification of Staying in the Kingdom (Over 90 days), I get an error message, saying that this page cannot be displayed. Can you tell me why and eventually tell me, how I can check my pending application? Thank you in advance.

  5. We are living in a private resort in Jomtien-Beach in our own house. Today, August 5th, 2015 at around 16.30 the owner of a curtain shop pushed in the door of our house with the help of her son and a third man and entered without our permission (break in) in our house. And this only because I cancelled an order, which should have been fulfilled yersterday We have requested these people many time to leave immediately our house, but they refused to leave our house. So I took 3 photos with my mobile phone, proofing that they are inside our house (see attached pictures) and then my girlfriend called the local police in Jomtien-Beach, informing them that 3 people have breaked in our house and asked them to send a police patrol to take these 3 peoples out of our house. But the the local police in Jomtien-Beach refused to help us and told us that we have to speak with these peoples and resolve this problem ourselves. What is police in Jomtien-Beach than good for? Do we have to kill first intruders in our house before the local police in Jomtien-Beach is taking any actions?

  6. I tried to make my 90 days extentsion expiring on April 28th, 2015 Online via IE on exactly 15 days before expiring date and 14 days before expiring date, Both times I could only fullfill step 1, after confirmation of step 1 I got an error message asking me to check with an immigration officer.

So I made photocopies of step 1 and the error message and went to Immigration office in Pattaya Jomtien-Beach. Like for a normal 90 day extension I had to wait for more than 1 1/2 hour in front of counter 4. Than I showed the photocopies to the immigration officer. He checked them, and told me then, that something was not correctly inputed in the system for my case and he corrected it and is should work now for the next extension.

Good thing, the immigration officer made the 90 days extension only based on the photocopies I showed him, immediately.

  8. Hello all, I used in my home before 3BB with 16Mbps and paid THB 1'594.00 per month and had a lot of disconnection and was not very happy with 3BB. I had even to call them to discuss these disconnection in front of the Provinicial Court in Pattaya.

In my home country I was used to a connection by fibre obtic cable with more than 100Mbps. So I was looking for a company in Pattaya who was willing to install a fibre optic cable for internet in my house. I must admit, there where not a lot of companies willing to do it. TOT, 3BB, Jomtien Cable and Sophon refused all, saying that they were not interested to install it in a private resort of over 200 houses in Jomtien-Beach. Only two companies were willing to do it: CAT and SBN.

CAT was to expensive regarding yearly and subscription fees and for the installation fees and pulling the cable.

So I choose SBN Sophon Broatband Network Co. Ltd. in Pattaya-Thai. I am now the first person having a FTTH Fiber to the Home connection in our resort. I paid only a subscription fee and the modem of THB 7'500.00 and a yearly fee of THB 14'154.00 (tax of THB 154.00 included) for 10Mbps up to 100Mbps download and 1Mbps upload as per contract. Means that this FTTH connection is a shared connection with other peoples. If a few peoples are online, you have more Mbps at you disposal, if more people are online, you have less Mbps at your disposal. I made already several times the speedtest on 3BB, and I had always more than 22Mbps download and 25Mbps upload at my disposal. Pulling the fibre obtic cable to my home was free and without any charges for me. ,

It looks like you're getting exceptionally good value, as you're paying about 1,200 baht/month to have 10 - 100 Mbps... but I'm curious, the Sophon Broadband packages have set limits. All package perform up to a set max speed available. It's hard to believe you have a 100/25 package for that price. Is that what you have on paper? i.e. a 100/25 package? If so, you have the best value internet in Pattaya hands down. Nothing comes close.

    Hello Tropo,

I do not have a 100/25 package, I mentioned clearly 10-100Mbps download and 1Mbps upload. This is what the advertisement of SBN Sophon Broadband Network Co. Ltd. in Pattaya-Thai and my written contract with them confirms. If you like to have more information on this subject, than you can contact me by PM. Prices are corrrect as per contract. Speedtest also is correct, if you do not belive it, I invite you to test the speed in my home
