  1. yes martin,we built our home in the wifes village about 6 years ago,we both live and work in australia, but we go home a couple of times a year and for what it cost to build,it is well worth the money to be able to stay and do what you want in your own home.one day in the future we will retire to thailand and it is a bonus that we are already set up for this move.the wifes father gave us the land to build on ,and the house cost about 1 million baht, six years ago,but if you were to build the same house today it would be much much more than that,so it is a long term investment as well.

  2. wake up clown,my thai wife and i run a cleaning buisness in australia, the money we earn goes into a joint account, she works her little butt off every night, never complains, and most importantly theres never any money issues.the reason theres no money problems is she understands that you must work to earn good money.when she goes home every year for a couple of months, she takes whatever amount of money she needs or wants.some of the village people think she's a high roller, but she's only got what she's got from hard work.5000 per week, wake up pal.

  3. 20 years ago i new this guy that went to look at every hotel that was for sale,he didnt have the money to buy one,but he educated himself by looking and learning, compareing prices, location etc,the hotel brokers got to know him,and would ring him everytime a new hotel would come on the market, this went on for 7 or 8 years, the same guy owns 4 hotels now and is doing very well, and i dont think the hotel brokers would be complaining about wasting their time on this guy.

    wake up you fool.

  4. my wifes village is fairly poor, and they love any old clothes i take up with me,naturally pop's gets first pick and then its usually better than a mike tyson fight as who gets the rest.however last time i took about 50 pairs of reading glasses wiyh me,my mother put the word out that any old glasses that wernt used would go to some old people in los,who couldnt afford to buy some,i must admit it was a good buzz watching the village people hand a book around and try wich ones were best for them.the freind who gave there old glasses were happy also, afterall what can you do with a pair of reading glasses that dont perform.

  5. a nurse walks into a room and sees a patient pretending he's driving a car, with his hands at 10 and 2.the nurse asks him,"charlie! what are you doing?" charlie replies, cant talk right now i'm driving to melbourne, the nurse wishes him a good trip and leaves the room.

the next day the nurse enters charlies room just as he stops driving his imaginary car and she asks, well charlie, how was your trip?charlie says,i'm exhausted,i just got into melbourne and i need some rest."thats great"replied the nurse,i'm glad you had a safe trip.

the nurse leaves charlie's room, and then goes across the hall into another patients room and finds ed sitting on his bed masturb@ting vigorously.

shocked, she shouts,"ed what are you doing?"

to wich ed replies,"shhh,i'm sh@gging charlies wife while he's in melbourne".

  6. good idea, nothing wrong with a feed of bunny,i used to love trapping and shooting rabbits(australia).wrap some fatty bacon around him and roast,or cook a stew with all the veges tossed in together, good tucker.i just asked the misses about rabbits in khon kaen, and she said they were everywere years ago, before they cleared all the bush away.there all gone now because people eat to mut.if i was to breed rabbits in the village i would stear clear of the white ones, get some brown ones and the issan people will eat em up.

  7. 12 rai for 105,000????this dirt is well into the bush,no power,no water etc,and the road is really a good track.the wifes village is fairly poor and most of the locals have their 10 to 20 rai to farm with.can someone explain the land title bit as i dont understand???thanks and good luck to all.

  8. drug test

    "the man"-mundine rumour

there are rumours that anthony mundines performance at his recent world title fight was drug assisted, apparently"the man"did not provide a urine sample after the fight.

it has also been revealed that he has in fact never provided a urine sample during his entire sporting career (nrl or boxing)

a spokesman for mundine has stated that the boxer is protected by commonwealth and international law, which makes it illegal to take the piss out of aboriginals.

  9. just bought 12 rai for 105,000,rice land in the bush, dirt road,2 or 3 kilo's out of the village.the previous owner cant pay the car payments ( shes broke )khon kaen, mancha khiri district.

  10. iam thinking about takeing my brother inlaw to australia,to work with us,the wife and i have a commercial cleaning franchise,so there isnt any skills etc needed,he is a good guy, hard worker, and currently working in taiwan, the money he gets in taiwan isnt that good after he pays the agency back.has anyone out there ever taken a family member out of thailand to work with them in australia.any advice or imformation will be gratefully apreciated.

    good luck to you all.

  11. my wife has just returned from thailand, and the australian customs made her stay behind after her bags were checked,to interprit for another thai lady who could not speak english.the misses had never met this thai lady before, not sure if customs were smileing or not,but after one hour i can assure you the misses wasnt her usual self.

customs and imigration offices are just dirty on the world because they failed to get into the police force.

  12. i sure hope you water drinkers read this!!!

it has been scientifically proven that if we drink one litre of water each day,at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than one kilo of escherichia coli bacteria found in water that contains feaces.

in other words,we are consuming one kilo of shit.

however,we do not run that risk when drinking rum, gin, whiskey, beer, wine,or other liquors because alcohol has to go through a distillation process of boiling, filtering and fermentation.

it is my duty to communicate to all of you people who are drinking water,to stop doing so.it has been scientifically proven that it is unhealthy and bad for you.

therefore- it is better to drink alcohol and talk shit than to drink water and be full of it!!

  13. this idea works well in darwin australia,we have the saturday, sunday morning markets, were mostly thai locals get together and sell their home grown products, including, fruit, veg, hot and cold food, you can even get a feed of larb or somtum if you want.the girls on the paw paw salad stand dont stop there flat out.then in the dry season we have the mindle beach sunset markets every thursday and sunday, and on the thursday you can have anything between 5 to ten thousand people there every week ( no joke )so most of these people have their trailer or little caravan and do the market circuit .its a big buisness.

  14. As a Diver, I take my chances. Statistically, the chances of being attacked by anything are negligible! More chance of scratching yourself on a rock...

Jaws did more damage to peoples confidence than it should have. Shark attacks are very rare!

Although I do sometimes wonder what would happen if I saw a big shark swimming my direction???

    old croc.

front page of the northern territory news yesterday had a 17 foot crocodile that had pulled a fully grown brahman cow down, and was enjoying a feed of rump steak.true story.

think i might wait until i return to thailand for a swim.
