  1. A handjob from a girl with leprosy is something you find amusing?

    You're a weird guy.

You do realize that by using the SAS badge in your avatar you not only look like a wannabe idiot but you also show disrespect for the brave members (and ex members) of the regiment who have earned their cap badge.

If you want to look like less of a tool you may want to save your Walter Mitty stuff for the beer bars in Pattaya.

My avatar was a test to see if some gormless prat would come along and take it seriously.

    Congratulations, you passed.

  2. A buddy of mine was an angry, paranoid, depressed, former NYC cop. He came here and met an older, hardened hooker and eventually married her. She turned out to have heart of gold and eventually turned him into a really happy guy. It is 20 years later and both of them are happy and living in Hawaii, but visit Thailand regularly. She changed his life for the better and was able to bring her 100% Thai children to America and they became US citizens. The whole thing turned out well. wub.png

Good story. How old were they when they met?

  3. Have you never done the walk of shame?

Never had the dubious joy of the trying to chew off your arm in the morning cos last nights eight pinter looks like Jingthing in a wig?

Give it a rest with your high moral ground bile - one of the joys of my life -

And I bet you this applies to most guys on this forum.

Has been empty, meaningless sexual encounters.

    Another quality tourist.

The "joy" of your life is getting drunk and going with prostitutes? Really?

It may surprise you to learn that not everyone living in Thailand is a sexpat boasting about his "eight pinters".

  4. I never understand why some men constantly seek out empty, meaningless sexual encounters without entering into anything remotely resembling a normal adult relationship with someone they see as their equal.

But each to their own, I guess.

    A good, sensible post.

The answers (in no particular order) are:

    1. low self-esteem

    2. desperation

    3. inadequacy / inferiority issues

I think I'd struggle to hang myself with a belt. Liam looked quite thin, so his belt would not have been very long. Then you'd have to tie it high...was there a chair? Unusual to have a loose chair in a holding cell.

I appreciate your assumptions, however you are wrong about the belt and the height thing. The rest of what you said certainly leaves the warning bells ringing though.

I've seen several people hung by belts. I have seen people hung at low heights, simply where the weight of their upper body caused their strangulation, they were sitting as they did it.

Obviously, I share your concern, it's highly suspicious..... sadly this probably isn't the first time this sort of thing happened and probably won't be the last.

Agreed, that there doesn't need to be a high ligature point, I've seen people  hanging from a door Knob, Sink Unit etc, not particularly pleasant.  There is a lot of holes in this story, and the conduct of The BIB is questionable. Sadly, don't think the wholse story will ever come out. Tragic for the family.

    Auto-erotic asphyxiation.

The guy was young, drunk and possibly high on drugs.

Note: "I left him in good spirits – he was happy drunk."

It's a question of definition: did Michael Hutchence and David Carradine "hang" themselves?

Is there a police photo showing the deceased at the time he was found?

Was the body hanging from the ceiling, or was it propped up against the bars of the cell?

Envy might kick in if you owned a condo in Monte Carlo or an 18th century farmhouse in Provence or a vineyard in Tuscanny.

Envy would definitely kick in if you enjoyed blissful retirement in a Caribbean villa.

So you envy people who live in these places and have these things?  I certainly don't.

I wish I had a condo in Monaco or a villa in the Caribbean, but I don't envy those who do.

My point is that very few people envy those of us who live here in Thailand.

I think this is the ugliest thread on TV that I have ever seen.
    Really ugly.

Yeah but the OP apparently "helped build the country" so he's got a RIGHT to wear his Brownshirt

Is that what the OP actually wrote? Did he really say that he "helped build the country"?

What's especially laughable about this thread is the way in which a tiny group of embittered haters (trolls, actually) rely on each other for support.

UG, what do you honestly expect?

I don't expect Europeans to attack Jews and scream "Heil Hitler" at them simply because of their religion and THAT is what they are doing. The anti-Semitic protests are fueling this behavior.

Criticism of Israel's policies is legitimate, but attacking synagogues and Jewish institutions is "vile, contemptible racism."

  9. I would draw a sharp distinction between the European sympathizers and demonstrators from the American ones. When it comes to Europe, I think the overwhelming factor is raw, native, deep-seated anti-Semitism. This is 2,000-year-old anti-Semitism. Now for awhile they discovered that if you put the veneer of anti-Zionism -- the cover of anti-Zionism -- you can get away with it in respectable society. The veneer and cover are gone. You've got placards being carried in Germany of all places, 'Hitler was right.' Chants of Jews to the gas. This is raw anti-Semitism finding a semi-respectable outlet and you get the foreign ministers of France, Germany and Italy issuing a joint statement denouncing anti-Semitism in their country.

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2014/08/05/krauthammer_on_anti-israel_protests_this_is_raw_anti-semitism_finding_a_semi-respectable_outlet.html

    You've posted this quote already.

Posting the same quote multiple times (albeit using different sources) doesn't make it any more valid.

Focusing solely on a tiny number of anti-semitic extremists (most of whom know little about Hitler and couldn't locate Israel on a map) strikes me as a desperate basis for an argument.

Why not focus instead on the vast majority of protesters who condemn Israel's actions on purely humanitarian grounds.

  10. Go back and read this thread from the beginning. There are lots of articles, photos and video evidence on what kind scum show up for those anti-Semitic protests. However, there is a major difference between anti-Israel protests in Europe and the U.S.

“When it comes to Europe, I think the overwhelming factor is raw native deep-seated anti-Semitism,” he told Fox News on Tuesday. For a long time, the anti-Semites of Europe discovered that by using the “veneer of anti-Zionism,” they could get away with it, he said.

What a load of rubbish. Do you really believe that all Europeans who protest are imbued with "deep-seated anti-Semitism"?

Try to look at the bigger picture, Mr Ulysses.

  11. @ Mr Toad

I was going to comment, but I can no longer be bothered.

If I were to comment, we both know what would happen..

First, you would reply. You would write something negative and/or sarcastic. Soutpeel would reply to your comment. And then Neverdie would come along. Ditto TonyTiger or ATF. The group of you would click generously on each other's like buttons.

Politely, don't you think that belonging to this little clique of less educated men devalues you? Don't you think it's rather obvious that the four (or possibly five) of you are in contact "behind the scenes" by PM? Do you think real businessmen behave the way you do?

I'm not telling you what to do, but I really feel you are devaluing yourself. The sight of adult men operating in "packs" to stalk their detractors is incredibly weak.

Rise above it, Mr Toad. Have a nice day!

  12. Those very rich Digital Nomads that makes a few hundred thoused baht every month. They always stay in a small cheap room, often without aircon. And eat noodle soup 3 times a day in the street corner........

Good point, the ones who say they bring a lot to the country, but don't want to pay tax, get a proper visa or anything else.

    Wow excellent point!

The entire point of this thread is that there is no proper visa that digital workers can apply for, genius.

    yes there is, its called a Non-imm B and a work permit....thumbsup.gif

therefore there is a proper visa and process for people who wish to work in Thailand

    genius

I see Mr Soutpeel is posting his usual tripe.

A work permit is not available to someone who freelances or is self-employed. Most "IT Nomads" fit into one of these categories.

The Elite Card is not the solution. It's just a glorified tourist visa.

The only solution is to set up a company and employee Thais. The minimum ratio of Thai employees to farang employees is 4:1.

I own two companies in Thailand. They are both easy to manage. With the help of a good lawyer and a creative account, a number of legal possibilities can be explored.

  13. Deal with the fact that there are some independently wealthy expats in the region.

I am sure there are Dave, but one suspects you aint one of them

BTW still waiting for the answers to my questions

And I'm waiting for your answers to my questions, too.

    1. Do you have an overstay?

    2. Just for laughs - is your wife tattooed or a former bargirl? I ask this question because I'd like to know the source of your obvious inferiority problem. You're hiding something, aren't you?

You never asked any questions but seeing as you asked

    1. 14 years in Thailand for a MNC, (so obviously 2nd or 3rd class to a independently wealthy person such as yourself)

    2. Yes she has 1 tattoo - Angleia Jolie type buddist script, on her shoulder - second part of question answer No

    3. Not hiding anything and no inferiority complex - (but one suspects you have)

    4. Never had an overstay in Thailand (which one suspects you have had multiple)

    5. Have no need to visa run to KL or Singapore to get more tourist visa's ( as it seems you do)

    6. Own 2 cars

    7. own 1 house (technically speaking she does)

    8. Havent had a drink in nearly 3 months, dont really go to bars much anymore

    9. Go the Gym every day I can

10 Dont have a beer gut

I have added the rest, so you dont have to waste time calling me a fat, Alcoholic, whore monger in your next inciteful post

so over to you, my independently wealthy troll

    2. Yes she has 1 tattoo

Thank you for your honesty. I now understand the cause of your problems.

For the record, my Thai-Chinese wife does NOT have a tattoo.

For the record, no respectable western expat has a Thai partner with a tattoo.

  14. Creates a thread attacking his inner self PRICELESS.

David thinks he's a millionaire and wealthy, but he's counting baht lol

I split my time between Singapore, KL and BKK.

Where did I talk about land ownership or counting Baht?

As I said before, your comments are childish and unintelligent.

Deal with the fact that there are some independently wealthy expats in the region.

Deal too with the probability they're laughing at you.

    Dave,

Run along now, your snide comments and trolling ways are only amusing you, my bet is there are more people laughing at you ATM, than are laughing at me.

I've known several wealthy farang in Thailand and none of them have come into TVF beating their own drum and rubbing their little 'dave' as you have.

Your type is easy to pick out wink.png

Run along big important man cos you ain't impressing anyone here.

Don't you ever get bored of writing childish drivel?

  17. These sort of rule changes effect those farang that sit on the steps of 7/11 guzzling beer before they return to their low class guesthouse or apartment where the lounge around speaking crap effort Thai, smoking their durries and attempt to compare their tattoo to tooth ratio with their beer bellied grubby mates that are doing the same.

Then there's the decent people who it won't effect.

It's good to see grubs struggle wink.png

This is just childish and unintelligent.

Listen pal, I don't know what grubby low life appartment you crawled out of but your day is fast approaching & the sooner Thailand clears your type out the better it will be. Time to go back to the west and face your failures.

I'm guessing my post struck a nerve with you for a reason, sad to be you.

    Even more childish and unintelligent.

Can you not just accept that there are independently wealthy westerners (like me, for example) who live in Thailand legally, disagree with your views and consider you a fool?
