It might be worth emailing http://www.thaivisaservice.com as they organize visa runs to that border and might be able to give you better idea.

I spoke to the guy in charge. He said I already have too many, but can ask at the border. Maybe they will give 15/30 days.

I will give it a shot anyway. The worst is they refuse and I fly to Laos for a S.E.T.V lol

Hi guys, I flew in to Thailand on a fresh Chilean passport and got a visa excempt (90 days) from swampy. After that expired I went to Ban Laem border at Cambodia for a visa run and got another one. Then another at Ban laem (no questions asked, all smiles). Would 1 more be really pushing it? I am leaving Thailand before New years tickets paid, proof of funds all good.

So what I've had is 1 excempt from Suvanabumi then 2 from Ban Laem all back to back. Are they likely to refuse me if I go to Ban leam again on Monday?

One of my Thai students a while back told me "I ever see ghost before". When I asked her for the details she said it was a girl on top of a taxi.

Hi mate,  the whole 7.5 years you have been teaching in Thailand you've had a work permit? Without a degree? 

I always thought a bachelors degree was needed to get a work permit to teach, even in language centres.

I really do sympathize with people who get busted for only weed, as smoking it does't hurt anyone and never causes aggression like alcohol. If anything, it brings people together.

Many of you can go on saying "the law is the law rararara.." "It's not your country.." whatever. I get that. This guy was clearly a total d*ck to many of his customers, and a stupid one..

Why would you keep a whole ounce and whey scales in your room/hostel if you don't want to be accused of selling. Would he have gotten off lighter if he just kept a few g's? He claims it was medication for his illness. Whatever.. You run a hostel, be an arrogant a**hole, have all night dirty rave parties, hire foreigners to work the bar illegally and expect nothing to happen? Police have been raiding these places for years. What was he thinking?

This was bound to happen sooner or later. I went there for a party a few years back when they had psy trance parties. The guy running the place (I'm pretty sure the same guy caught with the weed) was an extremely arrogant d*ck lol. The place full of smelly hippys and the like. Khao sarn dreadlocks everywhere.

I still hope they don't get into too much trouble just for smoking weed... But selling? You are farked!

I wish the OP the best of luck. How were you arrested if you dont mind sharing? Were you allowed to use your phone to contact anyone for help in the cell?

Supervisor asked me many times how come I haven't been back to my country and then asked if I owned a condo here and where I was staying. Everything was written in the arrival card I handed to her. 

Not once she mention the possibility of me working me, which I don't. Asked if I had any books or school ID from my school, I told her that I don't take books and school ID when I travel. 

It was almost midnight and there was no more flights arriving.

 

I started to wonder what the hell she wants w me because she was holding me for 3 hours and not saying she would let me pass or not. 

She asked if I knew any thais here, had a thai gf, asked the number to call the school (it was almost midnight) so she can call and verify the information.

I gave her a number of a thai person I know, she called him and there was an "agreement".

They hung up and I was let go. 

So they didn't ask how you support youself here long term without working?
