Just where is the victim’s girlfriend who is a key witness to the murder. I see no attempt by the police to find and protect her. I really fear for her life.
They will probably rearrest her on the original drug charges.

All I can do is sit in my home and avoid people and hope and wait that the British embassy will eventually be shamed into providing me with a vaccine. The Thais clearly don't care. Meanwhile I keep seeing my healthy 20-something year old ex students in Bangkok posting selfies on Facebook as they get their vaccines in a daily basis...

300,000 bht each or all together ?
You would think if moving that kind of value then you would use decent vehicles and not a bunch of kids but smart dressed older people .
The bigwigs probably used the kids as a sop to the police, so they can get their once a month headline.

I didn't realize it was a scam but should have guessed. We had one the other day, 500 baht. I just paid it because I assumed the wife ordered it. It was some crappy bum bag type thing that I know full well costs around 150 baht at any market. Sneaky buggers probably trick quite a few people!

With your 50K baht pension and a minimum 30K teaching salary you will be quite comfortable here. And you'll certainly land a job fairly easily, especially outside of BKK

Honestly the ice ones are <deleted>, you only feel it if you're sat right next to it, and the ice melts in 30 mins anyway so it starts blowing warm air, like a very weak fan.

I think he could change to another office if he informs them that he has changed his permanent address. But if the permanent address is still in Bangkok, then no.

Of course both are decent investments and the price of both, while it will have ups and downs, will ultimately continue rising for the rest of our lives. As for which one is best, Bitcoin is without question. Just buy as much as you can and keep hold of. If you can hold it for 5 years minimum trust me you will be glad that you did.

Didn't any of these 'teachers' consider why they would need 100 teachers on Koh Phangan?
What are you talking about, where did it say they are "teachers"? I think that you're the one that needs a better education...

My heart goes out to all of these people, I was nearly locked out myself. What an awful situation, I would go totally crazy if this happened to me. Hope you will all be reunited soon

Don't get me wrong, the misses and the kids are great, just miss the whoring, smoking, $1 beer drinking sessions in Cambodia and Vietnam every few months.
Don't need the planes to fly, just the Poipet/Aranyapratet land border open will do, I can get the bus.
How about treating your wife with a bit of respect for a change and stop seeing whores?

It looks like he backed into the truck several times. Was he parking or leaving? What's the story? This is also a case of We-need-the-whole-story to really understand. No doubt the sons and daughters of those in powerful positions abuse too often. But Thailand needs to get some people off the road too.
There's absolutely no reason why he shouldn't be allowed to drive if he is fit and able to do so.

You can apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife that does not require the letter.
Can this extension also be granted if the visa itself is not expired? For example my permission to stay expires on May 30, but the visa is valid until September...
Just trying to plan ahead

Kids are great. Also make you waltz through the fast lane at the airport.
I've taken my 18 month old son on a visa run with me before, just for that ????

Not sure if allowed to post this here or not but if you Google "Thai visa service" one of the top results is a company that does daily trips to the Myanmar border. It's a good price and good service.

When are they going to stop with this "smart car" nonsense, it is in fact just an "app" inside the car.

Another problem is that they aren’t allowed to teach English, lessons are forever interrupted by events and activities, special day or weeks lot to meaningless tests.
You're suggesting they shouldn't spend more time learning how to carve fruit? ????

She probably does like you because you're young, but at the same time you don't have any money for her so she has to continue working. She's young herself so I doubt she really knows what to do, sounds like she wants to keep seeing you but at the same time she has to keep working to make money. But typical thai girl, she is denying that she is working because she knows you won't like it. In other words, she doesn't really know what she wants.
Anyway, the situation probably wouldn't change unless you were suddenly able to support her so she can stop working. A factory job with a <deleted> salary won't cut it for her, it's not enough.
I doubt you can afford to start supporting her, especially as you are probably saving most of your money to come back to Thailand when possible. So the situation will continue as it is, for as long as you're involved with her.
Best thing, if you can, dump her and find a regular girl that's nowhere near the bar scene. It's very easy to do, especially at your age. If you have better than average looks you'll probably be able to find hundreds, actually. ????
So just do that.

As previously mentioned 3% is the norm. However, RE agents in Thailand do little to nothing to earn that. The post the house on their website, then sit on their asses in their office waiting for someone to spot the house on the web and ask to see the house. I’d much prefer to pay 7% to someone that actively searches for buyers and promotes the sale of my house.
Any ideas where to find such an agent that actively searches for buyers?
