I have just left Thailand after 8 years been here.
My plan is to go back to the Uk for 6 months and see how i feel about returning. As i have been thinking about it for a long time. I felt that i was just getting used. as my personal experience is thais just think about money and see what they can get out of you doesnt matter how much you help them they have got very short memories.
Where i lived in nakhon nowhere it was very lonely no one could speak english and i could only speak a little bit of thai.
I am married to a thai teacher she has 2 sons from her previous husband and expects me to pay for there university and i have taken care of them all. her ex husband pays nothing felt im just an atm.
And they forget that i have a son and daughter in the uk and its like f... your family

The fact alone, that there are millions of unregistered illegal "alien" alone is more than proof that:
- Thailand has a terrible shortage of staff (let's forget about skilled staff)
- the procedure to get the papers is too complicated, outdated or bureaucratic
- the market does whatever it needs to do to survive, irrespective of the attempted interference of the little green men in funny clothesThey havent got a shortage of staff. Thais dont want to work simple as

As much as I like to criticize, consider that in a family where both parents must work, or there is a single parent, there is no other way of getting the child to school. It's not right, but I can understand why a kid would take a motorbike to school. I rode my bike to school starting at age 8 and had to navigate some heavy traffic and did not wear a bike helmet.
Where are you from?

Some nice new opportunities here !!....for 500 THB the impounded vehicle can get recovered, but with no receipt !!
As for the stupid farangs renting and driving without licences, the law should plainly call them to be jailed for a week and the law should be largely visible at the rental agencies. It will immediately dissuade the stupid and the issue will be solved. No big deal ?
This will obviously dissuade the renegade bikers with no permits to drive and with only a licence to Kill or get killed !!
Yes I agree, also Thais as well students from the ages of 9 riding motorbikes no license, no helmet, no training
If you going to implement laws everybody abides by them, but here nobody gives a sh..

you can deduce which part of the world and which ethnic group contains people who are genetically the most similar to your own ancestors and gain an understanding of which ethnic group has the strongest ties to your genetic lineage. DNA testing can also allow you to determine your Haplogroup. Haplogroups are ancient family groups dating back to over 100,000 years ago that have migrated around the world to form our current populations. Certain Haplogroups are found exclusively in certain parts of the world. For example, all native americans fall into exclusive Haplogroups which are found either only in North America or in North America and Asia (since Native Americans are originally from Asia). Likewise, Europe contains many Haplogroups which are specific to Europeans and are not found in Native American and rarely found in Asians or Africans.

There are bound to be a plethora of posts deriding the standard of driving in Thailand and laying the blame solely on Thai drivers for road safety problems.
This is a wholly distorted perspective of the causes of the problem. I also suspect that many of these views have a racist motivation.
sorry you are wrong, everyone makes mistakes when driving, all people are saying is the lack of training, a car, motorbike, truck, bus, are all leathel weapons. here they have got to start by banning students from driving motorbikes and if you do that there would be less mistakes when they are old enough to drive a car also need better trainers for driving any vehicle. i say bring in more qualified people for training for road and class work and general maintainence of a vehicle
How many trucks and buses you see with bald tyres, windscreens covered in stickers this is a cause of accidents driving to many hours, (Tiredness Kills) no restrictions here.
And why you are on about racism many people on this forum live in Thailand,if they were racist what are they doing here?
