Basic it should be easy to find some student WHO can meet with you two or three times weekly and it will cost you 200 to 400 bath per hour + coffee/drink I guess. But the very best is if you have a Thai girlfriend you see often. What I do is to learn at least two phrases every day, if you do this you are far. Learn to Count and learn basic Words.

My opinion you should have your own router, then you can just make a new password each day as one of your tasks from the morning. Or better, make some good offers or events in YOUR bar so you will get more customers.

If you are on Ekkamai BTS and look against Nana take the end of BTS pointing againts Nana and this road on right side, max 10 minutes walk is a Big C. Also if interesting for you I am sure you also find a Index with stuff.for your Apartment. The biggest Big C I have been in, is near Central World. Go to Sitlom BTS and walk from there on the Skywalk to Central World and just opusite CW you see Big C.

There is a exhibition in IMPACT Center until 19. August. Here is more than 2000 shops to buy from and a lot of products.

My suggest is to stay away if you are thinking to stay for a long time. This city is the worst of all Cambodia, maybe even of all Asia if we are talking corruption in the Police and Mafia. You dont know who is your friends and WHO is not, even if it is from your own homecaountry, doent trust anyone at all.

I cannot share my story here but last time I was in that city I was happy when I departed from Phnom Penh and I will never come back. I was happy for Cambodia for a while but forget about it. Just to let you know, I did not any kind of crime at all, not even the shadow of one, I was the "good one".

Take a look at Laos or South Vietnam or maybe even Myanmar.
