Hi, I want to buy a motorcycle in Thailand, can I register it in my name if I don't have a long term visa, if not, can I register it in my daughter's name, she's Thai but she's only 17

My wife has given me an ultimatum to lend her 500,000 to pay off her mortgage or start divorce proceedings. She is generally a trustworthy person, never smoked or drank alcohol, and I am quite sure she would pay it back, but for me I am hesitant as I have previously been burnt and am trying to build myself back up financially for my kids from the previous marriage, and obviously being given an ultimatum like this goes against my general principles. The problem is, she is in South Korea and I am working in China, but I'm currently on vacation in Thailand, my wife has suggested that I can go to the ampher and get the forms then send them to her in South Korea. Is this possible or are there any other options?
