  1. I missed that post about the speaking dog, but I would say that post tops Mr. Blondes 30,000thb a month top International school offer for being muscular and professional looking :-)

But going back to the dog wonder... is it possible that the guy is actually trying to learn English from his dog??

His grammar is awful and yet he wants to come on here and slag off the Thai and foreign teachers. No time for people like that. Be grateful people try to speak our language Dr. Doolittle.

  2. Looking professional would consist of what exactly? Also an athletic build would benefit you in what exactly whilst teaching... carrying an extra text book and pen? Anywhoo for one of the best International schools to accept applicants without a degree, I'd like to just double check the website I've logged into as I'm not sure if this is thaivisa.com or total bullS**t.com ... this post has made me laugh. Thanks Mr. Blonde much appreciated for bringing a positive start to my day :-) maybe holdout for a remake of reservoir dogs

  3. It has been a total nightmare. I've still not received the confirmation yet so I just hope that they don't find some other issue. As for the registered address, I wasn't comfortable having it in anything but my own address, especially when forking out x amount on a new car, I'd just rather everything in order. I just wanted to give my first hand experience with regards to buying a new car as I'm unsure if it's a new policy that they have to stick by or not, regarding this letter. 3,080thb has really p*ssed me off.

  4. Just to give my first hand experience.
Bought a car from honda just recently: was informed that my work permit , Thai driving licence , utility bill and passport would be sufficient. Checked thaivisa first and other sites to see if I still needed a residency letter and all sources said that I didn't. Also saw a post from a law firm in hua hin saying the same.
Got the car with no issues and then within a few weeks I got a call saying it can't be registered in my name coz I didn't have the residency letter even though I had the work permit etc. complained and I thought it was settled. Next week I get the book for the car in my name but in the address of the company and not my house... Went to immigration and got an official document ish type slip stapled in my passport with my full address and that I'm a resident here, honda told me this was ok. 2 weeks later I get a call and they tell me that it can't be used. So last week I had to go to the embassy and the letter of residency comes with a big kick in the balls as the fee is 3,080thb and took less than 20 minutes in line and 2 mins to prepare this letter which I actually filled out and they signed/stamped. Sent it to honda so let's see what they say this time!
