It really doesn’t; even a lot of the small, <deleted>ty poor man’s roadside karaokes. Can’t believe this is still a thing-been decades of weekly stories like this. One would be hard pressed to run up a tab that high in a Tokyo hostess karaoke bar. -

Unless the laws have changed it is very much illegal. Any offering of money or gift exchange for sex is illegal. unless it’s a dowry and then the age drops down to 16 I believe. they can legally work as anything but a ho even though they a ho.
