Ive been going to hua hin for years now,when I first started going to the beach I would go down the small soi in between Hilton and Centara,it was always dirty,broken glass everywhere,unhealthy dogs,smelly horses with owners who wouldn't always pick up the horse crap,they were blocking the entrance to the beach as well,the stall vendors to the left on the beach never pick up glass.plastic bags and bottles it was disgusting you couldn't swim there at all.The last 4 years I have stayed in a beach front condo across the road from market village,the vendors are cleaner,the beach is better but they still dont seem to care about beach cleanliness,everymorning I walk along the beach and pick up broken glass for my own safety,I totally support the Hua Hin authorities for making these changes,,,if the vendors respected the beach,and not been greedy  they would probably have been okay.The other main cause of all the rubbish is the Thais who come to the beach for the day,they eat and drink then just leave all the trash there eventually washing into the sea and resulting in more broken glass and plastic floating around the ocean,beach inspectors are needed to fine those who dont remove their rubbish.
