  1. Hello, im searching for old issues of some thai magazines ("Looker Magfrazine" from this year,2014)

There is a shop in Siam who had some backissues of magazines, i went yesterday and, not anymore.

Somebody know if there its a kind of, newsstand or bookshop where i can find it?

  2. I need to stay in Bangkok for few months, so i went to ask in a building for an small apartment. The cost of the rent its okey, but they told me they will charge for the electricity "10 baht per unit".

Usually i use my laptot the whole day so, how much you think could be the total amonut per month of electricity?

Im not an expert about the "units".

    Any advice? thank you...

  3. wow...people here complain of everything

i just came this morning from vientiane...amazing..i stayed more than 1 month. i loved it.

now they are celebrating a festival, the streets near the river are full of shops, street restaurants and fun.

    The weather is fresh..

to go there, the train from BKK start around 6, there is another at 7 i think ,but check on internet.

in nong khai, take a tuk tuk to the border (i was reading online of people almost scared about, "oh how many travellers and crowded and log queues:..nah...it was only me that morning.

after you do the thai check out, there is a small bus that cross people to Lao immigration. fill a form, pay and wait few minutes.

After that, close to immigration there is a green bus (public) number 14., charge 30 baht to the bus station (30 minutes).

from there, you can walk (if u have a map) or take a tuk tuk to the hotels area (near the river or fountain) its a really nice area.

In Lao you can use thai Baht everywhere, so dont worry. (20 baht = 5.000 kips and 1 us dollar = 8000 kips aprox)

To return, i did the same but opposite...green bus to border.....lao check out...small bus to thai immigration...i walked to train station and bough the ticket (there is trains at 6 and 7.15 pm) i arrived in bbk at 8.30 am

enjoy Laos !!!!!!!!!! i already miss it :/

  4. Hola

I'm a holder of a Chilean passport and i have the same doubts of this brasilian fellow.

My 90 days visa on arrival expire this next august 30th

    .

I'm worried and confuse about which could be the best way to follow, because i was waiting going to Laos for few weeks and then come back to Thailand and get again the 90 days but, due to this rule, i don't know if that would be possible now.

I ask for advice in my embassy but i didnt get a proper answer; they just tell me that, probably i wont get 3 motnhs again so, the best its to ask in the Thai embassy in Laos.

So my question is, what would be the best solution?

extend my visa? (and how long time they will give me?)

or going to Laos or Cambodia and come back?

And one more thing, where its the Immigration office (Chaeng Watthana Road or Latprhao)

    Thank you so much,

    David
