20 years is a very short time frame. The dollar will die and it’ll be tough on us. Hopefully it’s after I am burned.

Never had the jab, wife didn’t and kids didn’t. No covid either. So nice not being fearful and worried about my next injection.

Fleeing to Thailand - so funny. They are coming on holiday as they always have. There is no war on Russian soil - fleeing from what?
The draft.

They don't want to help, that's the message I read. I wonder who his insurer is and why they're dragging their heels on paying?
Isn’t that standard for insurance companies? They look for any means possible to deny payment since it affects their bottom line.

My sister in law owed enough to a loan shark at her factory work place so the interest alone took nearly her entire paycheck. She couldn’t pay any principal. I lent her the money to pay it off and she paid me back.

No it is definitely not available unless you have a rated disability
In that case you register through the Foreign Medical Program and get work done at participating facilities here. But you only get care for the rated disability and nothing else. This I am sure of.- 2

Has anyone considered that they might simply have retained enough stock so they can continue to supply their regular customers who rely on them?
That would be good supply chain management to maintain a large enough buffer stock in case there's any delivery issues, a contingency plan if you will.
LOL. Is this a troll post? It’s all about creating a supply problem. This following the elimination of many of the small producers due to swine flu.

A timely post as I sit at Tokyo airport on my way to the states. Not pulling the plug. Yet but gonna spend a couple months in US and then Mexico. Next year I’ll either come back to pull the plug or stay on. If it’s still the same mess I hope to have found greener pastures by then.

As Luck would have it a Facebook memory popped up a couple hours ago. So I “remember “ traveling by train from Yangon to Bago, Myanmar. Great trip indeed.

I don’t sympathize with the government’s reticence, paranoia and general idiocy in this matter. I was very close to diverting to the US to take care of some business in March. I would still be stuck there had I done so but at the time I thought there was absolutely no way the lockdown nonsense would go past September. A reasonable but wrong assumption.

I booked 2 AirBnB's and 2 4 star hotels starting Oct 23. Everything seemed to be normal, with Agoda saying there was high occupancy. Though they might say it's FULL if in fact the hotel is shutdown. People that been there recently said it's still pretty good and not all doom and gloom like phuket although there are definitely closures. Centara Koh Chang Tropicana Resort, Costa Lanta, and Anna resorts I can attest are nice resorts and open.

They were in complete denial about the stupidity of their own actions on here shortly after the lockdown commenced. Blaming everyone except themselves for their own bad decisions.
It was obvious that a lockdown could happen as early as end of Feb so anyone travelling subsequent to that period took a massive risk.
Well, it's not really your home is it? Or are you still in denial about your status here?
Some people will never learn I guess.
Home is where the heart is. Is it not? Home isn’t a legal status.

Project fear in full swing it seems. The virus is out of control..it's an emergency...but, but we have not had any real outbreak for over 100 days?? But other countries have..
I’d say never had an outbreak (of any magnitude at least) is more like it.

Everyone can test positive because the test doesn’t detect any virus. It’s chromosome 8 and some artifacts they think are the result of “infection “. It’s all nonsense. It’s a casedemic not an epidemic.

It’s hard to feel any sympathy for their predicament when they continue with their hare-brained schemes convincing themselves that people who don’t want to go to Phuket are going to put up with being quarantined in a hotel for 2 weeks.
Then have to stay another week just to squeeze a bit more out of you before you can move on. Add to that the 2 weeks when they get back, that’s five weeks wasted before you have your holiday. What tourists do they actually think will put up with this?
For sure, there will be a few desperate souls who will pay and put up with anything to see their Teerak once again and stay for a few months but 2 million? Even if they do extend it to other areas I can’t see those numbers.
Get real.
And the lucky souls that get a false positive from the unreliable PCR test. Oh my a vacation to remember.

Cool story, but does not answer my question.
The article says people have not been able to go home due to closed home borders, which countries have not allowed its citizens to return ?
Google isn’t your friend? You expect someone to make the effort for you if you have insufficient interest to find out for yourself?

That Covid varmit is likely to appear anywhere anytime so be sure to mask up. Best to sleep and shower with one too. Can’t be too safe.

Complete insanity. Masks don’t work. I can see the rationale for heavily encouraging pm2.5 due to the filthy cancer causing air. But what they want Farang wearing surgical masks. Is that to stop them from drooling?
