  1. Without wanting to appear like a complete idiot, can I just ask if it is possible to extend a non-immigrant O whilst in Thailand? All the ingotmation I have got so far (from the Thai consulate in Hull UK, and from immigration in BKK) has said that I will need to go outside of Thailand to get one (possibly even back to the UK). What is the best/easiest way to get a new O or extend a current one? What hoops would I have to jump through?

  2. Not sure the best place to post this but I thought I'd share this with everyone - well worth a visit. I found a small noodle bar over in Bangsue in the neighbourhood at Prachachuen Soi 30 (behind the 7-11 near to Prop Bar) - it's called Chick Noodle and they do a mean bowl of chicken noodles and also have daily specials that vary from Japanese Curry to Spaghetti Carbonara. The homemade cakes are well worth a try too!

    Give it a try - I guarantee you won't be disappointed :o

  3. Hi All,

I am a UK citizen and am moving to LOS with my Thai girlfriend at the end of February. I've been to Thailand before but my entry was overland and my stay was months rather than probably years this time. I have a one-way ticket to Thailand booked but have recently read something about needing to show a return ticket. I have heard that the majority of foreigners living in Thailand get 90 day visas which they renew on a Visa run when they expire. What do I need to do to do this? Do I need to apply for a visa before I go?

I'm sure this really isn't too difficult but I just keep getting conflicting advice which makes me somewhat nervous :o

    Any help greatly appreciated!!
