I once saw a young Thai girl, too young to understand, on a SkyTrain in BKK wearing a t shirt that read "if God hadn't wanted me to have sex why did he give me a huge cock" I was embarrassed for her but how could I tell her.

Why is it so important for TAT to come with all these predictions? It makes no sense!
Only Thailand is obsessed with talking up how much money, usually in trillions of baht, tourism will generate, which at the moment is all bs

Wow very interesting. So, those that have only one Sinovac will now get a Astrazeneca?
Sounds good but have there been sufficient studies on the safety/efficacy of this mix of vaccines?
Why throw away all those Sinovac shots they got for free ????
Sounds like they're crossing their fingers and hoping for the best. ????????

Go Thailand!!
Id prefer to wait for trials to be done and get it for free then pay for an unproven chinese vaccine

"As of January 11, a total of 1,114 tourists had entered Thailand on STVs, with another 123 set to arrive this month"
By my reckoning thats 1,237 this month. How does that possible equate to 10 million for the year. It'll be a very steep curve ????????

Probably not. if you die from the virus without having been checked then you never had the virus. Its the Thai way of statistics, like dying in hospital after a road accident, its not added to the road toll. Keeps the numbers down.

Great story by rooster on life on asian beaches back in the day. I was first in Kuta in '75 and Patong '75 & '76, Calangute in '80 etc etc and this story certainly bought back memories. If only there was places like that in asia now(and I doubt there is), that are truely laid back, clean and healthy. Sihanoukville was good but definetly not laid back.

I haven't read or heard anything but would be seriously surprised if you would get any sort of credit TBH.
Im of the same thinking. VFS or the Aust embassy arnt likely to come to the party with refunds or credit.

Has anybody heard if anyone who had a Oz tourist visa issued to them but then couldnt go because of covid restrictions will get credit if they reapply when things are sorted.

Only Americans would think this is a good idea because they've got such bad health care in good old U.S of A. Anyone from a country that looks after low income people wouldn't agree to this. It'll no doubt fall over and be forgotten.

By the time the Gov officials buy some new watches and the kids parents waste the rest by giving it away to their parasite relations and anybody else who puts their hand out, the kids will be lucky enough to have enough left to get a new football.

I'm sure they would be happy with a simple thank you from the PM in person..
It's impossible to keep up with all the news, thai and English, but has the king had anything to say particularly a message to the young boys. A message from Germany would cheer up the boys no doubt.
