  1. .........Going back to the 1970's while working at the US Army Hospital in Bangkok Sukumvit Road Soi 63, they at one time delivered block Ice from the ice factory. Back then they used the husks of milled rice to cover the ice so it would not melt so fast during the hot season. At the Hospital it was quickly realized that field rats urinated on the husks, and the ice in the coolers. Several people got sick at the Hospital using the infected ice. Today, I don't think they use rice husks anymore.

More importantly look at the people who are making, serving the meals you order on the street. Are their hands clean? Watch the operation in full swing, Do they meet your sanitary standards? If not.....move on. There is nothing like a Klongtoi

    belly to ruin your day/week!

  2. I see nothing wrong with him asking for advice. Im doing exactly same. Already told my gf now together 18 months. Im not interested in marriage and want to protect my self because the laws in thailand sucks. What she does with the money i give her i dont care. I give her a chance to choose to spend as a bargirl or save as a smart girl. If she dont like my rules she can leave. Harsh? Well for me its more harsh to give 10 years of your life, to a thaigirl that knows the rules and where the government benefits their citizen only. And leave you dry as sahara.

You can take the girl out of the bar, but you can't take the bar out of the girl. Run out of money, and the old rule still applies, "No money, no Honey"..........

  3. Your just as bad as the rest of the low life's don't want marriage but want a child! Its called having a bastard fella! Want all the luxury of house, woman, child, but not willing to go all the way with marriage. Doesn't want to commit 100% to the woman he loves, Physically but not mentally?

Go back to Auzzie land and leave the Thai woman alone. They want full commitment and not a part-time honey bun. What? you want a child with a Thai and don't want to support it? Why even ask the question if your going to skip town when you get tired of changing diapers, waking up four in the morning when the babys crying. This is called commitment, and the first step is Marriage. Thats all we really need in Thailand, another fatherless child, like we haven't got enough here already. And your 50 years old?

When the child is 15 your 65. Are you going to teach him how to catch a baseball how to be a man and be a responsible person unlike yourself? And when he is 20 and your 70 are you going to still be around? This is plain stupid on your part. I get the picture, an irresponsible person been married before, and got burnt. Looking for another way of all the luxuries but none of the responsibilities. What to be a sperm downer, without a commitment. Good luck. Should have no problems with a GF that has no decency, or is so low on the aptitude scale working in a bar, she doesn't know jack anyway.

  4. ..............Does her husband know how to bake cookies? What will be his role in the white house?.........Remember she resigned as Secretary of State. And she still has to answer to the Benghazi attacks and also countless other facts surrounding the IRS cover ups, IRS files hidden in the White house, of Prominent political opponents. There are so manny things she has been involved with, very little accomplishments as a Senator or as Secretary of State. She is a looser. Cornelia Rice (Secretary of State under Bush) could run circles around her if she ran for President.

  5. Thats the best thing that could happen!...........They are a public nuisance that needs to be removed. Its no fun when these monkeys roam the streets and attack people carrying bags or items that catch there eyes. Round them all up and drop them off way deep in the jungle. That will solve the problem.

Human intervention is the problem! Don't feed them, don't water them! They allow them to breed and multiply. Let nature takes its course, they will return to the wild jungle where they belong.

  6. ..............I am leaning towards what the PM is saying. "if your not corrupt, not a thief, Why should you worry about rule 44. " Its intention is to stop crime, and prevent a re-accuring corruption in the Thai government. Lets not forget, he is a military man, not a double talking politician, and say's what you want to here.

He is the only PM in years, that every Friday reports to the Thai people of what is being done, what has been done, and what will be done. Unlike past PM he is a man of action and does listen to what the people are complaining about. I've lived here in Thailand for the past 6 years, and actions by the Military have not changed my life in any way.

...And all you peanut gallery hooligans that discredit him, LET ME REMIND YOU, that you are a guest here, and what goes on in Thailand Government is not of your concern or mine, ........don't like it.....then go back where ya came from!

  7. The way I read it, the British guy assaulted a female at 3 in the morning? Three in the morning? What the &^%$ was he doing outside at 3 in the morning? What was she doing outside three in the morning? What is wrong with this picture? They all should of been in their own beds sleeping. What is wrong with these people up and about at three in the morning? Any decent person would be sleeping regardless if on vacation or not.

  8. ............Gee, the unauthorized items should make the headlines world wide by tonight!.............Meanwhile, five million auto are on the road with no insurance, 30 million motor bikes are driven with no helmets, thousands of massage parlors have underaged masseurs, and we are mostly concerned about umbrellas on the beach. Give me a break!...........I could think of a hundred other infractions of the law more important. All we are talking about is, someone didn't get paid to turn their head and over look what wasn't done. Be careful, some tourist might just say, "I'm going to take my beach ball and go some place else."

  9. ........Well I hope the US Consulate doesn't follow suit! I sure would hate to take a bus from Chiang Mai to the American Embassy in Bangkok just to get an over priced $80.00 Certified Certificate of Income. Any other recorder back in the States would do it for $25.00. Just one more over priced scam to satisfy Thai Immigrations. I just wonder, what is their cut out of the new $80. dollar fee?

  10. Maybe this will be a lesson for all you renters!......If you can't afford to buy your own little pad......go back wherever you came from. This is not a renters paradise. Most landlords blow your deposit the day after you give it, and they have no intentions of returning your money in any way or fashion.

There are just to many reasons landlords can make up to prevent a return of funds. This is another unwritten scam to be

a-where of before you sign on the dotted line.
