I'm thinking if the prosecution is going to keep dickin around and not release full documentation for a clear and open analysis by the defense...it might be about time to reveal that coroner's report from the UK. It seems like the prosecution are in the final 10 seconds of a basketball game...they have the ball and are passing it around to run out the clock.

Sounds like a good idea but apparently the UK agreed with Thailand that the report would not be made public,, so we will never know what is in it. All we know from the UK press is that the forensic team in the UK have some "serious" issues about the Thai pathologist report and that they felt it was their duty to present to the court in Thailand.

It was definitely suggested it would help the case of the defence, but we will probably never know.

I know some of it but was scolded for mentioning maybe this and maybe that.. So I deleted it. It will come out in the inquest anyway. They cant keep it quiet forever. Freedoms in the UK allow people to know the truth at some point.

People in the UK should be furnished with the truth now, not some point in the future. If I was planning on a holiday to Koh Tao I would want to be reassured by the UK Government that they had done everything possible in their power to ensure that they were 100% confident that the evil people that committed the horrendous crimes on their citizens only a year ago were not still free to repeat their deeds. What benefit is it to anyone to withhold such vital information?

Better for everyone to just avoid Koh Tao all together.

Not being negative here mate, but nobody in their right mind will buy a condo in company name to start with. I'm afraid your going to be stuck with it for a very long time unless you practically give it away for well below what you paid for it.

I wonder where they are pumping the collected tunnel water to? Into the city's drains? If so, no wonder 3 hours of rain caused this much flooding.

These fools has been failing year another year just to keep Sukimvut from flooding after minor raining, so taking their engineering abilities and stupidity into account I really doubt they do have a system in place which can cope with with keeping the tunnel dry specially in a situation we're experiencing in Pattaya and Jomtien right now.

I normally get my fish and chips on Thappraya Rd. for myself and the missus, usually between 400 and 500 Bt. Can you imagine my absolute delight when I was visiting the night market along the Jomtien Beach Rd (around Soi 9)and seen beautiful fish and chips for...wait for it....60 Bt. Sometimes they even give you 2 beautiful fresh fish with the chips. Then you can go to the seating area with tables in front of the disco music stage and while eating your fish and chip you can be entertained by the kiddies (Farang+Thai) strutting their stuff for their parents up on the stage......Just brilliant. Then wash it down with a mixed fruit drink for 20 Bt. What a nice way to end a stroll along the beach.

Nothing "retroactive" about it. The arrest warrant was issued in 2013 after they (allegedly) skipped on their bill. They returned in 2015 and were caught. No different than if a warrant was issued today but the suspect isn't caught until 2+ years later.

Seriously, how about the guy who got blacklisted when he went toe to toe with a student who stole his writings and was blacklisted. The "student" had legal charges against himself and still managed to pay off an immigration official to blacklist the professor.

No way in hell does a person rack up a 15000 baht restaurant bill in Thailand unless hes at the top of the Conrad Hilton in BKK, it just isnt possible. And to blacklist a person for an "ALLEGED" crime, not substantiated is typical of the crazy tactics used in the country. Great example of the madness is the KT trial going on right now where the police are using DNA that does not match to try and convict innocent people.

Bangkok Bank on the 4th floor inside MBK Centre in Pathumwan opened a savings account for me on tourist visa when I first came here..... It's pretty much up to the manager and staff ( and the mood their in ) to help you with this. It helps being very polite and charming in a way to convince them to help you out. When I walked in they said NO, but after asking for the manager and chatting it away a bit and being very nice they helped me within the second.....
