Gen Prawit stresses forest fire mitigation is on the “national agenda”
Jimbo2014 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Our time keeper is a picture of health. I note that his short note did not include any mention of agricultural fires - which are the main cause of the entire population of Thailand to choke for 5 months a year. These guys are completely useless. -
My wife and I were very early catchers of Covid19 - we caught it around March 2020 ironically from a friend visiting from the UK. Noone would meet us for several months after until the Korean scientists determined it didnt stay in your cells and didnt replicate in the nucleus. Im suprised such stigmatism still exists given how widespread the virus now is.

I didn't really understand why they shut in the first place. Its not difficult to social distance in a national park and the clean air and exercise may help strengthen the immune system to fight of any unfortunate infection.- 14 replies

Thailand consumes nearly a million Favipiravir tablets per day
Jimbo2014 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Favipiravir is listed at 1.38 USD per tablet. So 1.38 Million USD per day. Seems it may have been cheaper to spend big on vaccines some months back. Not to mention the complete destruction of the economy. -
Its the same. India had international agreements and broke them and the world understood because people were dying. They were supposed to be a hub of production. Same will be for Thailand if the powers that be can give up the tea money that comes with international sales. No-one will think the worse of Thailand. These are extraordinary times. In any case I posted my original post with reference to India as a precedent. I felt your rebuttal was harsh given my reference to an identical precedent.
