I see on the Air Asia website that expedia is now listed as a "partner" , so surely expedia have booked u on a FLYTHRU ticket and so u should be OK. Check with them anyway.
Great price then, well done.
The Air Asia A330 seats for the KL to SYD leg are narrower than full service carriers. ie 9 seats across the cabin 3x3x3, as against 2x4x2 across for other airlines.
I always try to get a seat down back in the last 6 or 7 rows where its 2x3x2, if lucky, u get one of the 2 seats and the other seat remains empty.

At least get back onto expedia and confirm you have an intransit connection in KL.
If u can connect without having to go thru Immigration/Customs u would have no problems, if not change to an earlier flight ex BKK.
-
To book u 2 hours transit time in KL on Air Asia is ridiculous.
Check in deadline for the KL to SYD flight is 1 hour before SCHEDULED DEPARTURE TIME.
Effectively giving you only 1 hour to clear immigration and customs at KL and get checked in for the next flight.
If your first flight is delayed even 20 or 30 mins departing BKK you're gonna be struggling to make the connection in time.
I'd get back on to expedia.co.th and get them to change to BKK to KL flight to at least 1 hour earlier. preferably 2 hours earlier.
Are u sure of that price????? $365us RT seems incredibly cheap these days.

99.9 % of the fires in northern Australia would be wildfires in uninhabited terrain started by lightning strikes
and nothing to do with ground clearing techniques.

Going by the sat pics avbl on http://wikimapia.org/#lat=5.8432187&lon=101.1149669&z=16&l=0&m=p
It appears to be a good quality bitumen road with centre line markings all the way from the border to yala.
You can also view udom09's photos taken along the road in 2011, he calls it the 410 but its the 4106.
Just follow the road along on the map and click on the little pics for a bigger view. Udom09 has a pic every 4 or 5 km's.

If all you want to do is a visa run, then from Hat Yai bus station you can get the non aircon bus to Padang Besar. (1 hour)
Tell the conductor you want the border and they will drop you off there and you can exit Thailand walk across the border (600 metres), enter Malaysia and if u like turn right around and go back to Thailand.
Then get the bus back to HY.
This is certainly the cheapest way and the bus ride is fine.

Help if we could actually see something!

I don't think it was a tubing accident, but a bad landing on the flying fox.
-
Yep, thats it.
TG at 2100 and then none till Jetstar at 0700.

Air Asia went to once a day to KL about 5 years ago - wrong - morning flight daily plus an afternoon on Tue,Thu & Sat.
Korean Air flies 4 days a week, at most, to Seoul - funny how their own website says 1 flight Mon thru Sat and 2 flights on Sunday.
-
Malaysian Air Asia - to Kuala Lumpur (daily 1 or 2 flights)
Thai Air Asia - to Singapore (daily)
Lao Airlines - to Luang Prabang (daily)
Korean Air - to Seoul Inchon (daily, 2 flights on Sunday)
Air Bagan - to Yangon (Thu & Sun)
Silk Air - Singapore (Sun, Tue, Wed & Fri)
Thai charter airline Business Air - does occassional charter flights to Seoul Inchon
These seem to be the only international flights from CNX at this time.

Certainly take a boat out to see them, it's the only safe way!

I'd be very reluctant to take any children swimming with the dolphins in the Khanom area.
There are strong tidal currents in the seas off Khanom down the coast to Sichon.
I can speak from personal experience here. I hired an inner tube at the Kao Ply Dam resort, 15km south of Khanom to swim out to the pink dolphins which were only 50 metres or so off the beach. But couldn't reach them owing to an extremely strong current which just pushed me southwards. There was no way I could swim against this current, only with it or cross ways back to the beach. Ended up about 300 metres from where I entered the water.

No Contest. Air Asia by far the cheapest from 2250 baht total fare one way.
Thai and Bangkok Air are well over double this.

I don't think the Udon to Vientiane bus will wait for visa on arrival passengers, they like everyone to have a prearranged visa.
However, you could take this bus and if they don't/won't wait for VOA pax's, bailout at Thai immigration and catch the normal shuttle bus across the bridge (20baht) and then the Vientiane public bus no. 14 from just outside Lao immigration to the Talaat Sao bus station in central Vientiane. Fare is again around 20 baht (under 30 anyway). Don't ask the local taxi and tuk tuk drivers for the bus stop.
If the Udon to VTE bus won't take u onboard in Udon just catch the local Udon to Nong Khai non aircon to NK and tuk tuk to bridge. Tell the conductor u want the Friendship Bridge and he will let u off at the cross road to the bridge.

You can book one way BKK to Samui on the 22nd Dec for 3660 baht (about $120us) with Bangkok Air.
But do it SOON or the cheapest prices will be gone.
-
Probably Air Asiabooked well in advance.
-
Hat Yai has heaps of hotels, probably more than Krabi.
Recommend VL Hat Yai Hotel
You can normally book a room at this hotel for 750 baht plus taxes thru Agoda.
But for Songkran next year it skyrockets to 1399 baht.

You should also look at Strategic Airlines for Phuket to Melbourne(Tulla) return.
Strategic have child fares whereas Jetstar do not as far as I can see.
May work out a bit cheaper but u should book it soon as fares will only get dearer as Christmas approaches.
-
There is no direct Phuket to Avalon flight. U have to transit via Sydney and get a domestic Jetstar flight SYD to Avalon. Same going back.
And these flights are not cheap over Xmas/NewYear.
-
There are 3 direct flights scheduled every day from REP to PNH and vice versa.
First flight leaves REP 0840, then 1130 and 1720.
Today 18 Sep for instance the 0840 was cancelled but both the 1130 and 1720 departed pretty much on time, actually both arrived PNH early.
You used to be able to book on the Vietnam Airlines website but are unable to now for some reason.
I'd suggest ringing Vietnam Airlines.
The Cambodia Angkor airlines website is back up now, but only links to VN Air for booking.
However u can book online thru the PTM Tours and Travel site mentioned in the Cambodia Angkor site but its coming up $175us o/w. Fare should be around $100us including all taxes.
