In my experience trying to do business or even just work with Thai people is incredibly difficult. Always late and never prepared. Never taking responsibility for errors. Constant lying about business related issues such as customer feedback on performance. Worst and most difficult to deal with is never saying how they actually feel and drawing a curtain over their emotions so that you never know where you stand. It has always amazed me how companies can function profitably here.
Ok so thats the good part, whats the bad part of doing business with Thai people ????

Ah here we go again!
Honestly, one of life's great mysteries is
How in the name of all that's holy, does T.A.T. come up with such ridiculous claims and numbers?
Actually perhaps the greater mystery is...do they expect anybody (outside of T.A.T. that is!) in the world to believe such garbage?
Absolutely hilarious...the folk at T.A.T. would have been better employed as script writers for Benny Hill!
they're playing the numbers game i.e. lottery, hoping that one day one of their predictions actually comes true and boy will they have some party when it does

The other requirements suggest putting it to a vote or something similar for the Ukranian people to try to stop the fighting.
The fact that these options are on the table probably means Russia realise that they made a bad decision.
A compromise or similar would be a better solution than even more deaths and potential escalation of the current crisis?
Finland not seeing it that way....want in to NATO post haste... don't fancy a bit of Putin getting rid of their neonazis

Thailand is not NATO nor Russia nor EU. Thailand is a sovereign country that cares most for itself. Which is understandable IMHO.
except when it pleads to the world for free Covid Vax and wants the rest of the world to care about Thailand....

The real reason is that the government does not want to lose the money that the gold mine brings in. The people with money in the country see the money they can make if they stop the Aussie country.
If you were that country I would not want to settle. I would keep ownership build big walls around it declare yourself as the owner and stop anyone from digging in the area.
err if they stop anyone digging how are those greedy little mockticians gonna get their hands on the gold?

Yes Prime Minister, Brass Eye, Brexit 2019, The Thick of it... to name a few UK political satire shows that lay bare the complete ineptitude of our political culture and it's inhabitants, they have nothing on the Thai way.... some screenwriter could make an absolute fortune writing a TV sitcom about Thai political culture and it's characters..... Anutin to Switzerland should be the Pilot me thinks, they say "truth is stranger the fiction" ... it would be hard to beat LOS political characters in living up to that saying..

Nice marketing trick calling it "QUARANTINE FREE" when your still have to do 1 Day Quarantine so it's not really.
I think you give too much kudos... they wouldn't know a marketing trick if it hit them full on in the face....

UK, Germany and, yes!, China are three of them afaik
from the Independent newspaper in UK. The list of nations allowed in includes the UK, as well as China, Singapore, Germany and the US. PM added that more nations would be added to the low-risk list in December. Does beg the question why say 10 countries when he only announces 5 countries.

Based on her maths I think the maths curriculum needs a major rethink!! That said how do you put a percentage on whether you are ready to go back or not, surely its a yes or no answer? Are you ready - "Yes" (not a teacher/parent decision - a government decision) - go back to school, are you ready - "No" - then government needs to get moving by doing more maths homework or write 100 times on blackboard "I must do better at maths" ????????

Well, on a serious note: from what I read, this is not just some glitch caused by an update of a router gone wrong, this seems to be serious, affecting the company worldwide, despite the various datacenters they have for backup.
So the two things that come to my mind:
- If it can hit a company like Facebook with thousands of security and other system engineers, it can hit ANY company. Just gone through my bookmark list and found quite a few companies that when going offline, would have a huge impact on my life.
- During such an outage, we all have NO IDEA about the safety and security of our data. That is why as soon as FB, Instagram and WhatsApp are back online, I will change the passwords and force my family to do the same.
I would guess that the smugness in the face of Zuckerberg is crumpling by now... first the leaking of all his documents and now this... funny to see twitter messages flying around with messages like "TikTok is working".. "Twitter does not have problems" and so on.
Unfortunately, 2 days after the service is restored, the majority of users will have forgotten it, and only the politicians will go on fussing about it like they had any idea to start with...
smells of inside job

Most of offshore entities are not illegal! Its only good tax planning. If you have several million's capital, why pay extra tax or tax over tax. I was doing tax planning, my Finnish company owner was my Estonia company whitch was owned company in Scotland. In Scotland i had only adress whit 3 other guy's, one room residence. But if want pay extra tax go for it. Have sold already all, dont know how this company "trik" works now days. But normal things, ofcourse if there is criminal money that kind need find.
The lovelys from the woke media seem to think that because you are tax wise and efficient in the handling of your own personal financial dealings you are fair game for naming and shaming with the inference that what you are doing is illegal.....which is in the main untrue. How said people earned their money is a whole different ball game. In the UK it's one of the wokey's favourite past times (many of whom are taking advantage of the same tax efficiencies with their own personal money), "do as I say, not do as I do".
