Hello does anyone know if the £5000 you need in your bank for the multiple entry visa does it have to stay in your bank for six months and do you need six months of bank statements to prove it? As its in my savings account but not my main account and I don't get bank statements for it.
Also what's the employer letter you need and do you definitely need it

Hello does anyone know if the £5000 proof of funds to obtain the multiple entry visa has to be in your bank for 6 months before you can get this visa? I have the funds in my savings but they have only been there a month and I plan to go to Thailand April may time.
Also do I need letters from my employer?
Any advise would be great thanks

Hello I don't know if anyone can help me. I have a British passport and am currently in Thailand on a single entry 60 day tourist visa and Iam going to extend it by 30 days.
However my visa expires on the 16th November and I don't fly home until the 14th December and because the 16th is a Monday i can't go to the immigration office at the weekend which means I will overstay my visa by 2 maybe 3 days.
Can anyone tell me what my options are? Will I have to pay for a flight home a couple of days early, or do I just pay a fine at the airport but doing that I don't want it to cause trouble if I want to come back to Thailand or get a visa for another country. Or could I then get a further 7 days extension before flying home.
Thank you

Thank you I know I should be on to get a visa it's just the boarding which concerns me

Hello I hold a British passport and will be applying for my visa next week. Iam going to apply for a 60 day single entry tourist visa and then apply for a 30 day visa extension as I will be in Thailand for 88 days and won't be going to any other country.
My question is will I need to book a cheap air Asia flight to another country because my return flight is booked but not until 88 days later so I wasn't sure if I will be denied boarding if I have a 60 day visa to start with but a flight returning later..
I travel in September and went to Thailand last year in November on a 60 day visa which is within a year is it true you can get denied a visa.
Thank you

Hello I am a British passport holder and will be in Thailand for a total of 87 days before going back to the UK. If I apply for a single entry 60 day tourist visa can I get a 30 day extension at the Krabi immigration office or should I apply for a double entry visa and do a visa run just confused because I keep reading different things.also I went to Thailand for 6 weeks in November last year on a single entry 60 day tourist visa, Iam going in September this time can I get declined a visa

Hello I just have a few of questions if anyone can help me? Iam going to Thailand in septet for just under 90 days before going back to the UK. Iam aware I will need a double entry visa, however on the visa form where it asks how long do I plan to stay in Thailand do I put 88 days or 60 days (as this is how long the visa gives you), also where it says where will my next destination be and how will I travel there do I put England or do I put whichever country Iam going to go to to do my visa run.
One last question is I went to Thailand for 6 weeks in November on a 60 day tourist visa can they decline me entry?
Thank you

Hello does anyone know apart from a taxi how to get from BKK- Khao San Road?
I have seen you can get an airport rail link and then a bus but all the information I am finding is 2 or 3 years old and BKK website isn't clear.
Thank you

Thank you yes the visa will be valid as you have 3 months from the date of issue to enter Thailand.
In the section of the form where I put which visa I want under the number if entries do I put S for single or the number 1 becUse in brackets next to the words tourist visa it says up to three entries
-
Sorry i was just reading your reply again. So when I apply once the visa is issued I have to use it within three months, but when I arrive in Thailand is that when they give me the date I need to exit by.
Iam travelling on the 5th November

That's lovely thank you very much. So it is ok to put 40 days because I am not staying any longer?
Also on the top right hand side it says number of entries do I put one or S for single entry?
Thank you

Hello sorry for all the questions but I am just filling out the Thai visa for for a 60 day tourist visa and its confusing me.
Duration of proposed stay: I'll only be in thailand for 40 days before returning home so do I put 40 days or do I put 60 days as that's how long the visa is vaild for?
Proposed address: Is that my first nights accommodation?
Employer/ Institution: I take it thats the company I work for? and the profession is my job role.
Passport Issued at: I hold a British passport but can't see anywhere where it says issued at.
Many thanks
