Nowhere is 100 per cent safe. My home country, unfortunately is becoming more and more dangerous. Many of my friends won't venture out at night. The biggest issues here are the "one punch" incidents that have led to many deaths. All alcohol and/or drug fuelled. A few have been as a result of an innocent bystander being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The other issue is the gangs of mostly teenagers of African descent breaking into houses, committing vicious assaults on families, with little punishment if they are caught. Thailand is by no means perfect, but I feel a lot safer there than my country of origin.

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if there are any ladies amongst us who are in the process of obtaining Thai Citizenship, or have recently gone through the process. As most of the threads and posts here pertain to males obtaining Thai Citizenship, it would be great to hear from a females perspective.

Having lived in Bali previously, I can confirm it is a great place. However, unfortunately there are still people who are quite willing to rip you off. My best friend is a local who does tours, hotel pick ups etc. I have known him for more than 20 years. If anyone is travelling to Bali, feel free to pm me.

Hello,
Could you please clarify the following for me:
I have been given conflicting stories regarding a foreign female being married to a Thai national. I have been told that as a female, there is no proof of income required by me, but a Thai male must provide tax receipts. I have also been told that there is no financial requirement from the either party. Which one is correct?
Thanks

Vang Vieng is a great day trip. Can go hot air ballooning for USD $50. Many cheap bars and restaurants.

As uptheos said, manao is refreshing, especially with vodka. Soda water with a dash of lime is just as nice.

Thanks once again Joe-your advice and responses are much appreciated

Thanks so much for the quick response Joe. So, if you are retired, ie not working, you are unable to obtain residency?

Hi,
Is a foreigner married to a Thai citizen permitted to obtain residency in Thailand?

So you are a fan of his then? With a name like TopGere, hardly surprising. You like 99 baht breakfasts by any chance? Are you a digital nomad?

Please tell me you are joking. This convicted piece of s hit has lived in England for over 60 years. He is rotting in an English prison. To me, that makes him English.

Unfortunately, I don't like any beer. Wish I did, as it is a much cheaper option than drinking spirits.

Trent Cotchin didn't pass medical. Despite tipsters and odds, Richmond are no chance, and that is coming from a Richmond supporter
