What actually happens is that the property developers buy the cards, then it is built into the price, trying to get an Elite Visa without buying an overpriced condo is very difficult to do.

Yes another scam, now the big boys are very busy working out scams, while the Tuk Tuk scammers have to plant rice.

That is not how it works with Developers. The Thai Elite Visa is an "add-on" at a separate cost from the Condo purchase, it is an optional extra. I looked into it, but IMHO it is bad idea as if you sell the Condo, the Visa is gone too.

  2. JD - I can see that you are obviously a sort of official on this subject judging by your multiple posts. I am intereseted, but really do not know that much about it at all. I have not seen any statements from witnesses and I have not seen any conclusive CCTV near the time of the murder, I assume you have seen far more. There is one snap in the shop much earlier and one of the 3 burmese on the bike even earlier, none others that I have seen. I also think the motive line is extremely weak. There could be the motive of being rejected and rebuked in a bar by a pretty tourist and hence losing big face as opposed to the motive of working as slave labor with no welfare or respect driving someone to attack, rape and murder after a bottle of beer and sing song on the beach. BUT my real comment was, I just do not understand why they did not leave...It was not hard to get off the island. I have no idea who did this, but it would not be a normal action for a murderer to just hang around like this. I just hope justice is served.

To which CCTV clip(s) are you referring?

  3. If I was an Itinerant worker, working illegally on Koh Tao and had just raped and killed a girl in a frenzied brutal attack with a garden hoe and killed her boyfriend. I would stay on the island as if nothing had happened even wearing the same shirt the next day, no need to change after all (no nasty blood stains or anything).

Public boats off the island watched.

    Multiple identical work shirts owned

so did the police find a blood stained shirt from the accused..? I do not think so. The shirt looks identical, but as you say it could be another from the bar. I cannot imagine how there would no stains on any of his clothing. How many shirts has he got..? is there one missing. How many days after the murder was he arrested..? plenty of time to get off regardless of being "watched" plenty of others got off OK. It just seems odd that they would just hang around after such a henious crime. There were no witnesses at all, no CCTV of them at the correct time, so it must all be hinging on DNA, which would prove rape. It would not satisfy Sherlock.

  4. What a ridiculous statrement to make at a time like this. He is under pressure to show the world that Thailand is not 3rd world and that they are capable of serving justice, then he states that Thailand need to monitor the quality of tourists! Has he really put any thought into this at all? Or is it just another silly "bikini" statement? How will they monitor tourists to ensure only "quality" tourists are admitted..? Dress code, wealth, police record, political/religious persuasion, colour, age. Assuming the criteria would be pre-set and not a brown shirted gent alongside immigration booth waving away anyone in board shorts or long and untidy hair, it could result in far worse "quality" tourists altogether. He is going to contiune to make obtuse statements to deflect the attention from the incompeteance of the RTP, or maybe they are not so incompetant after all, as so far they have succeded in protecting the guilty parties in this hideous crime and regardless of the fate of the accused, justice will not be served.

  5. Why were these Burmese worker apprehended again..? looks like a lucky pick to me. Is Sean McKenna's information now all put down as ramblings of a mad man ? He knew David and has the same scar shape as the victim. He was fearful for his life following the murders, but he is not worth speaking to.? I would have thought he would have a story to tell, and I doubt if it would include any Burmese workers. It does seem quite likely that he was at the scene of the crime in some capacity. I don't think this case would trouble Sherlock too much.

John, innocent until proven guilty and the evidence that has been presented so far is extremely dodgy, and would not convict in the West (compromised DNA, no witnesses, etc'). These 2 guys were tested for DNA early on in proceedings, with no match, but after a round up of all available scapegoat types, their DNA was a match. Why was McKenna in fear for his life. ? He knew the scale of what these guys are capable of. RTP have not handled this very wellwith deliberately misleading all, directing blame to various alternative culprits including anyone except of course any Thai national...Jealous gay..burmese.., etc'. The crime scene did not look like it was the scene from a jealous gay lover, it was an horrific bloody mess created by vengeful, nasty, viscious people. If these guys really are the culprits it will be the very very first time that the RTP have been successful in such a case, so the chances are very slim to be frank.

    .

According to a previous post he owns the bar it happened from. Not my opinion. Just noted from a previous post. If correct it is very important in this context. Can anyone confirm that JTJ is the bar owner on KT?

I think John has something against Burmese people, or at least has something to gain (vested interest in a business ok KT?) by promoting the thai authorities / thai police / thai tourism. I don't believe any educated westerner living in Thailand knowing what they know about the thai authorities could spout this kind of tripe. I'm literally gob smacked at some of the things coming out of his mouth

LMAO - Conspiracy folks continuing to run amok. State something as fact and clearly say it is not an opinion but then question if it is correct and ask for another internet poster to confirm.

And yes I must have something against Burmese people because I believe the two who have admitted to numerous people including their own advocates that they raped and killed ... not to mention their DNA is a match.

So again I ask you, what is your expertise in criminal investigations, DNA, criminal prosecution or defense?

    Tell us.

Outside of two or three boneheads who adore your posts, you otherwise have zero credibility.

So tell us why we should all listen to you. What makes you special?

    Impress us with your CV.

I don't think a CV check is needed to either accept or not accept reality and what is plausible compared with what is far fetched, not thought through or just nonsense based on small possible tidbits of information or missing information to a case that has not even been presented to a court yet.

All these far fetched theories and here we have two guys that have admitted to police, lawyers, their embassy and a Human Rights group that they did it and this is backed up by the fact their DNA tested positive with the DNA in/on at least one of the victims .... then there are the witnesses, the video and the phone and whatever else will be presented at court.

But forget about all this and lets instead focus on things like if poor Burmese folks drink wine and pretend there are no such things as cheap wine cooler drinks as opposed to expensive bottles of wine and lets focus on what they did with their empties.

If the words, reality and facts above alone don't wake you up then no CV is going to.
