This is getting out of hand, not only in Pattaya but so many beautiful spots devastated by this crap.
On a side note, my mother and sister are coming here and I plan to take them to one of the islands/beaches. Does anybody know a beach that is still intact, still beautiful like they were a decade or two ago?
Koh Phangan has some of the cleanest beaches in Thailand. The business owners there there have taken responsibility for the beeches in front of their hotels and resorts. Most are very clean and pleasant.

This article is a total exaduration and irresponsible journalism . It says also that many budgets flights have been moved to the other BKK aorport which may well account for much of the drop in figures.
"Though the number of arrivals at Suvarnabhumi has continued to drop, Don Mueang recorded a significant increase this year due to the relocation of major budget airlines, such as Thai AirAsia, Nok Air and THAI Smile"

I was there in 1923 and I can't believe how much it's changed.
