I thought the exact same thing. How would they be able to filter europeans ? You don't get any stamp when you cross the border to Germany. So will they check : German passport + flight from Germany ?
If that German person spent his summer holidays in Spain, Italy, France, which are not allowed in. How in the hell will they know ?

Hi guys

I'm planning on going to HK in 2 weeks and will ask for a single entry tourist visa (60days).

The thing is that I will get the visa for the period 6 Oct. - 4 or 5 Dec. and plan to extend it in Thailand until the 16th of Dec. (the day I will exit Thailand and date of my exit flight).

So if I show my flight ticket does it have to be before the "ENTER BEFORE" date on the visa (3 months from issuing date), or I can just write that I will fly to Thailand around 20th of October when i fill the form so that they think 20 oct + 60 days is over my exit date, if you see what I mean cause it's not clear
