I dont post much on this board,and i havent been back to Thailand for about 6 years. but

try to keep up with Thai things.

Is it true that the leader of the yellow shirt anti government protesters etc is being charged with murder for what happenned

during the last lot of protests. And if this is correct, then to topple the government would be in his favor.

Hmmm... My government makes millions of dollars revenue from smokers, if they all gave up all us non smokers would have to pay more tax to help cover the lost taxes. Yeah forget about giving up

My mates Thai wife from a rice farm in Petchabun replied to my question about two years ago."Why dont you like Thaksin he gave villages money?" her reply "Now villages owe big money not before". So there seems a down side to all that handed out money.

just wondering about 30 year lease, say the owner dies before the lease expires, what happens with the lease then? I assume you have lost your contract and its then up to the owners heirs, family to deal with.

If so then the continuation of your business would be dependant on their decision what to do with the land.

Ive landed at Swampy twice, first time was 29 Sept 06 the day after it opened at about 10.30 pm, well suprise no problems at all,

then again 28 Oct 07 about 12.30 pm and again no problems with airport immigration or customs etc., a few girls touting for taxi

but I put my finger to my lips and they all smiled and left me alone.

But at public taxi rank I was told by girl who wrote out my taxi voucher " 400 bht to Soi 3 Sukumvit" I was not sure if she was scamming me for taxi driver but it cost a lot less by the meter which I insisted on. Never been quoted fare before by these people was a bit suprised.

I dont normally go to Bkk from airport usually go to Pattaya so Iam not sure if this is scamming but it did seem a high figure quoted ?

I suppose if deported is stamped on Margarita's passport, then when she renews it (maybe looses it) , I wonder if it will have stamp on new passport.???

Anybody know if Siam Bootery can build surgical designed boots ? Not just customise new shows for someone who may have corns etc. But be able to build a boot for some one with a shorter leg and very small foot. Obviously a boot like this cant be bought and adjusted must be made from scratch.

The cost of these in Australia is just too much these days.

Iam in BKK next month to see Dr in the Hospital in Soi 3 (Bumrungrad ) concerning this hoping they might make them.
