That'll work
Not if they get harassed, by our Police, searched and forced to urinate in front of the public.

The crux of the matter is, that our poor, homeless, and underprivileged people living conditions are not much better than the poor in Africa, living in tightly packed conditions and deprived of the essentials, should there be an outbreak it would spread like wildfire.

So its ok then to have a pet Buffalo, and my neighbour to have a pet pig?

Actually, we have only achieved less than 60% in getting the country organised and to an acceptable position of stability, there is still lots to do, although we have limited corruption and many other crimes in the grand scale, we haven't even started to curb the smaller forms of corruption and other crimes which effect the people on an even grander scale then the huge corporation's when added together, I would say we need at least another 2-3 years of martial law. Wouldn't you?

There should be a tightening check on monks not on the offerings given to them; you know, the child-molesting, swindling, farang-slapping kind.
Only a person who hides behind a mask has the brilliant inelegance that can detour from the topic and make a racist remark.

You actually think they will comply? 55555
Its a matter of Who controls Who. don't you think?

It didn't worry anybody with Yingluck so possibly wont here either , however impeachment is only carried out with persons actually sitting in parliament if they are no longer members of Parliament this is a case for the courts, so charges should have been laid , it looks to be a long haul with the amount of Senators not understanding the rules of the house and some offences are criminal, so impeach away.
If that is the case then perhaps they should all be charged with theft and fraud, then serve a term in prison. Does that sound better?

With all due respect, the problem is of course that too many departments are involved with basic decisions, which actually shows the inadequacy of many departments to act on their own by finding loopholes to pass on the buck. which is a sure sign of weakness in any department.

Use the grey matter between your ears, there are many by-products of rice that we can get involved in, instead of importing, such as, rice noodles, egg role wrappers, edible rice paper, rice flower, rice dumplings, rice bran oil, rice milk, rice syrup, rice crackers, canned rice products, rice cooking oil, and of course all kinds of fuel. just to name a few.

Welcome to Thailand, the land of smiles, enjoy your holiday. the reason why you have to pay 10x the price for everything is that we want your money and not you. now go home.

The Thai government tells the world that the US does not understand Thailand and the Thai people, but when they go out to meet a range of people who are not just government spokespersons the government gets all upset.
Thainess at it's best.
Now just guess what would happen if we sent envoys all over the US to meet with all the opposition.

The problem is that the international community don't know the difference between an international problem and a domestic problem. there are other counties that really need their help, why don't they try and help them? or are they beyond help from all the interference from the international community?

This should not be considered as a threat, It is a statement. The thorn is slowly being removed from our country, any sign of infection should be treated immediately, once its out the wound will heal quickly.

And what benefit will the students get in learning to fly a drone fitted with a camera? will it be the same as spending millions on pads as before? drones fitted with cameras is an invasion of ones privacy, because fore sure the students will not be restricted to using it as a science project, besides that the camera can be substituted with other dangerous devices. if the so called science teachers want to experiment with drones, then they should be restricted to the school yard or sports field. and not in public places.
And stop quoting America, this is Thailand.

What about a pre-paid system, where the customer at the airport pays for his fair in advance gets a ticket with the taxi number and goes on his way. the taxi driver can redeem his cash with the ticket stub when he gets back.
-
At the back of most taxies there is a card hanging that gives most destinations and cost including the extra cost of traffic jams. Why not have a few billboards placed near the taxi ranks with this information, it can be similar to the flight departures and arrivals board that is in the departure and arrivals hall.

Oh well, back to the carrier pigeons, smoke signals, and drums.

Actually in most countries prisoners who have a record of good behaviour that have almost completed their sentence are gradually introduced back into society by doing communal work under supervision under a voluntary bases. The problem here is the fact that in the past slave labour was used in the fishing vessels, so the eyes of the world are on our fishing fleets. One must also look at the situation through the prisoners view, I am sure that after being locked up for years under not so good conditions a bit of freedom, fresh air, and the opportunity to accumulate some money, even under the hard labour of working on a fishing boat is most welcomed. Providing that it is voluntary work which can not be defined as a "chain gang" which in essence is forced labour.

Well, if they are under 18 then they should be sent to military school and do public service under supervision like cleaning public toilets, cleaning up the parks, helping to clean up the streets, clean the rubbish out of the klongs, etc. etc. and their parents should be charged with parental neglect. If they are over 18 then they should go to prison and do public service there after 3 months or so.

Looking at the photo, the Yaris must have been traveling in reverse when it was hit. or was it parked on the other side of the road. if it was then looking at the damage, the other car could not have been traveling too fast.

Listen! we elephants and other animals are sick and tired of you tourist coming to our park with your loud music, honking your horns, shouting and screaming, throwing your plastic bottles and bags into our habitat. and your silly little restaurants throwing your stinking garbage around. Just go away and leave us alone, especially when our girlfriends are on heat and us guys want to do our thing.

But we are not in Europe.
Where is the "Thainess"?
Why are we following Farang Democracy?
So OK, we wont follow Farang Democracy any more, instead of white zigzags on the road we will paint pink polka dots, just to be different from the international accepted road rules,
