I know most mothers, anywhere in the world, love their children and do everything for their children.
Unfortunately in the extended family of my Thai gf is a girl who had already three children from three Thai guys she doesn't care about. She dumped the children with her mother. And maybe, on a good day, she sends some money to her mother.
Now this girl, by now maybe 25 years old, is pregnant again. It seems the father is her Thai boyfriend. But since two months she is in Germany to marry a German guy. She has the baby already 6 month in her belly and now she just found out. And the German guy is smart enough to figure out that he is not the father.
It seems now she has this idea to return to Thailand and this time dump the baby with my Thai gf because it seems her mother told her she can't handle another baby.
My gf doesn't want the baby - but she is a caring person and if her relative would dump that baby then probably my gf would take care of the baby.
Now my question is: What is the legal situation here in Thailand with mother and child? What if the mother doesn't care about any babies. In this case she probably just wants to get rid of that baby and then go back to one of here lovers/sponsors - and probably it won't take long before she is pregnant again.
What to do?
P.S.: Please no funny comments. The situation is bad enough as it is.
First that girl should take the pill, or put the spiral to stop pregnancy cause seems to have abundant ovulation.
Can ask police but chose the right one cause as said recently the Thai police chief: police representatives don't know the law.....
There are rules on civil code about children's rights that you can find in internet like here under or others:

I live in TH and no need quarantine, just was in Pattaya one month, air very good and fresh, beautiful clean city, roads and beaches, nice to swimming, crowded only on week-ends, otherwise nice relaxing, prices of food and rooms very cheap, 4,000 baht monthly rent for aircon room. Italian restaurant Cala la pasta with all day set menù for 199 baht...
The Sailor cocktailbar with 60 baht each and membercard, after 5 one is free.
It was a nice holiday there....and fun to travel nearby by motorbike: Wat Khaochichan, Nongnooch park, BanAmphur....etc etc....

But sounds like they can go from hotel/resort to the near beach and stay in swimming pool. Not just closed in their rooms.
There are foreigners living here in Thailand or even in Phuket since years and not coming from out side that will be questioned at every step....

Or will the tourists arrive and experience being shunned by the locals, generating even more damage to tourism.
Seems to me that our loud mouth deputy PM is partly responsible given his anti farang/dirty farang comments. Perhaps he should consider a few quick careful statements to try to reduce the damage he has done to tourism, to jobs, to income etc.
Don't know where you live, but there is a big difference between an Army politician and the normal people's opinion.
Here in Bangkok they are always happy to see me and welcome me everywhere, as well was it in Koh Phangan recently this month when I was there.
Sure the Mininster of Health made a big mistake but better if he shut his mouth and not speak anymore even for excusing....would be like pouring alcohol on fire....

It is renewable every 5, 10 and 20 years but each time you re-enter you get 1 year stamp.
Maybe is same like the Retirement visa, the reentry stamp is for one year but then no need to exit and re-enter every time but it is valid until the main visa validity

Knowing about the disinfecting needs, why didn't you bring your own disinfecting gel or alcohol or disinfecting tissue and do it step by step yourself when needed....
Europe or other countries worldwide are even worse than Thailand where people wear masks and gloves since more than 20 years, even before SARS outbreak cause they put it even when they are sick not to affect others around, instead caucasian foreigners never do and arrive sick with flu, sneezing and coughing from abroad for their vacations here and without care of locals when in crowded places....!!
Instead all Thailand's international airports I've seen are always clean and well mantained, much more than in other so called developed countries that instead reduse personnel to save money.....

Yes, basically you can kiss goodbye to any chance of submitting future retirement extension applications 30 days in advance of your latest permission to stay expiring if you're affected by the insurance requirement. This is because insurance companies generally only issue renewal notices 1 month before the current policy is due to expire. And it only takes foot-dragging on your insurance company's part in processing your policy renewal in conjunction with an extended holiday period to result in you either having to sail very close to the wind as regards the timing of your extension application, or, at worst, finding yourself in deep, deep doo-dah if the hallowed new insurance certificate which Immigration insist on doesn't show up in your mailbox by the time your current permission to stay expires.
Instead next time when he extends will have the old insurance still valid and can apply one month before and then extend the insurance when expiring but with visa already valid for one year

Tooth brushing can last even longer, just keep water tap closed and use a glass with water to rinse.
Even shower can be done with closed water and the open just to rinse hair and body from soap and shampoo

His relatives from USA were concerned not seeing him back and started research through USA embassy in Thailand, and they asked Thai Police that once input a passport nr. In the system can find out if he still in the country and went to search him at last adress he gave officialy, of course at that point they have to arrest an overstayer

Yes of course, only Europe and specialy Italy must be invaded by immigrants from Syria, Africa and elsewhere with detention camos everywhere like in the most famous touristic and ancient cultural islands. Others don't want any, even if big like the Australian continent and with such a small population that came from all kind of kriminals and else, sent there from England at the beginning as an exile detention camp and now becoming puritane......
Nice way of thinking...yes....

The first time I made the extention from non o visa to retirement stay permit in Phuket, they asked to make 90days report before giving me the stay permit (illegal cause 1st extention already a 90days report itself) and so the officer called by phone the place I used to stay and they told I checked out without saying that I was a permanent guest there and they oblidged me to check beeing fully booked for few days. So the officer accused me to be a lier but I had booking at hotel just beside, they didn't accept any reason and shouting like an eagle kicked me out like a criminal in front of everybody there. A real abuse of power. Flew immediately to Bkk and just 2 days b4 expire date got extention without any request or bewise of adress.......

New passthfort is blank, while old passport has arritval stamp. I had thought maybe there's a common inter-country database (like Interpol) where lost passports are reported, so the thai immigration officer could see it was lost and no longer valid. But if that's not the case, then although I'm happy to show both passports, I suppose I could just exit through immigration with the old passport to keep it simple and avoid confusing the officer and causing problems. I can use my new passport for the flight and entering American, which is where I have a green card. Then if anybody at any of these stages has any questions, I can show them the other passport (new or old) and explain what happened.
Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa ConnectSuggestion of Old Croc could be wise and announce to where you told (Myanmar Embassy?) your passport was lost that you found It. They can cancel the note, give you a revalidation paper and you can leave Thailand Safely. In America you can use the one connected to green card If there Is the number on It.
I have used 2 passports In USA cause had the Indefenitely multiple entry visa on the old expired one and they accepted the first to put stamp on the new one.
-
If you didn't report it lost to thai police and if you received a new while staying in Thailand and has no stamp on it, from my point of view you can exit the country using the old without showing the new. If instead you have an entry stamp on the new, but I don't think so, how did you exit before?
I suppose you have an old with visa and entry stamp and a new without any stamp received while you already in Thailand.
You should explain with more details.......

Thais have done like in Brazil, not developing trains in the past centuries they have given boost to private bus connections cause no car traffic before, now that cars are to many trains would come useful but need rebuild completely the railroads to sustain even the intercity vagons and electrified to avoid diesel engines.
Will be a long road....sorry a long "rail"road....

Even if thai people don't study the driving rules but it seems they interpretate everything upsidedown.
Ambulance arrives and no one stepss aside
Pedestrians..no rights
Mototaxis drive on pedestrian walkway with arrogance
When thais come from behind they never keep safety distance and for them who is in front must take care on those behind
Motorbikes noisy and driving dangerously....and so on. The list is long.
They realy don't know. Ignorancy at maximum level.

So its not interest then on the finance is it ? As i said
In Europe I saw a fix amount...but never know, things can change or be In many ways....up to local constructor to enter market or to branch director.
If a branch director approves then can give any loan.
In bank's rules any bank's employee can be usefull

Do they really ? In my experience its usually the finance company who gets the interest not the dealer, unless its the likes of BMW and mercedes who have their own finance companies who will loan you the money, but even then the dealer doesnt get the interest...so belive your mistaken in your remarks, irrespective of whether cash or finance all the dealer gets is the purchase price
Dealers get something for the service they do. Maybe not monyhly comission but a fix s amount

When you buy a car or a property, those goods are the garanty, if you don't pay even the last month they can take back the property and the bank get a big advantage.
Specialy if having account with cash in same bank they can grow their business and including an insurance in case of problems and each bank has own insurance company. So double business.....
Sometimes not so business oriented

Yes tn such thingsishappen everywhere but nort to the same extent as th asy happen in LOS. The statistics of tourists/foreigners/expats dying in Thailand must surely be mind boggling. It should be mandatory for every foreign embassy in Thailand to publish their lists at the end of each year so the world can see how many of their nationals were murdered, had accidental deaths, ended up in hospitals (either from assaults or traffic/boating accidents), plus their nationals who reported theft/robberies.
Yes sure I agree! But same story with Brazil, Caraibians, Mexico or others, where violence Is at higher levels. My countries 24news Is reporting a lot murdered In that part of the world rather ythan here....
But a statistic would be welcome
Embassies or FAM have It for sure

I would take the Sputnik if awaylable
