If a couple of men who used to be women or women who used to be men want to compete at a miniscule level, then let them at it. It's just a shame it inflames so many of you.

I'm quite confident in my perspective. Nobody has "ripped to shreds" that the election was stolen. It was stolen. You can't rip to shreds the truth. You can only obfuscate.
JFK, Trump, MAGA and the rest of us fighting for freedom and liberty from the globalist cabal are not "undermining" democracy. Undermining democracy is what the globalists who oppose Trump stand for. They like to project their crimes onto others.
I'm not saying the next 2 or 3 years are going to be fun. War never is. But know that this is a war. Trump is a wartime president. We have a lot to tear down and rebuild. But humanity will win. Like a chess game, the globalists have already lost. They haven't conceded yet, but the people paying attention know the game is already over. Everyone will see it at their own pace.
Know that when you do, there will be no hard feelings. No "I told you so moments". We were all duped by these people at one point in our lives. 2028 and beyond will be all about reconciliation.
As for your question about who are the "corrupt institutions?" Yes. You named them quite well. The rot and corruption runs deep and wide.
You are so far down the rabbit hole that the light of reality is probably just a dot in the distance for you and I have no illusion that I will change your mind but hey, I've got 10 minutes and I'm a bit bored so what the hell.
Let's start with 'Nobody has "ripped to shreds" that the election was stolen' - Trump and his minions filed 62 lawsuits in state and federal courts and each one was thrown out despite many of the judges having been appointed by Trump and being die-hard Republicans. Even his own departments of Justice and Homeland Security said there was no serious fraud, culminating in his own appointed Attorney General, William Barr saying that the Justice Department had found no evidence of widespread voter fraud in the election. So your assertion is that every one of these people are lying? Every one of the judges who have cultivated a reputation and standing in their personal and professional life are all part of some grand conspiracy perpetrated by some globalist overlords? That's some power these globalists have - they can even convince Trump appointees to rule against him.
And while we are on the subject of these globalists, who are they and exactly how do they operate? Are we talking singular people or a group of super powerful individuals who can operate with impunity throughout the world? Can they influence Russia, China, North Korea, the UK, Germany and all the countries in the world? Man that is some reach and if for some reason it's true, how exactly are they 'Undermining democracy'? As far as I can see, the only person trying to undermine democracy in the US is Trump with his election denial and January 6th riot. Occam's razor dictates that the simplest explanation is usually the best one, yet here you are ignoring the obvious to try to sell the extraordinary and quite frankly, the bizarre.
Now I do understand you see yourself as some enlightened warrior 'fighting for freedom and liberty' and I sincerely hope this is just a hobby for you rather than anything serious that actually affects your life, but facts matter and your posts are VERY light on facts and high on conspiracy which will never turn any reasonable person to your viewpoint.
I thank you for your conciliatory tone (unlike many other MAGA fans on here) and appreciate your lack of name calling and aggression but you are just wrong. Very, very wrong.

3 hours ago, uncletiger said:It doesn't matter what he says. It only matters that the election fraud is exposed. Too many people focus on Trump, rather than the global movement behind what Trump represents. Trump, the MAGA movement, and this entire war against the globalists and the mafia like cabal they use to inflict tyranny across the planet, are igniting a genuine change of psychology in humanity. There is going to be a backlash against taking advantage of others for personal gain the likes of which the world has never seen. And in that movement, we are finally going to see changes to the corrupt and fraudulent voting systems that the globalists leveraged to install the Biden regime in 2020.
The fact that a corrupt system wasn't corrupt enough to defeat Trump (or was intentionally damped to allow him to win) in certain instances is irrelevant.
Trump is not to be feared. He is a wrecking ball that is going to destroy all of the diseased and corrupt institutions that will no longer serve us as we move into a new age. Trump's mental state is just fine. Try actually listening to him. He isn't losing it. He isn't fearful. Trump is well aware of his role in this larger script. And as a reality TV star, Trump knows how to act. He is a small part of a much larger plan...a plan that has been in the works since at least the assassination of JFK. A plan to rid the world of the globalist tyranny. A plan supported by huge factions of the US military. And a plan which is going to come to fruition as soon as this calm before the storm is complete.
Embrace what Trump represents. It will be the first true freedom any of us have ever known in our lifetimes. It's going to be rough over the coming months, but the other side is well worth it. The best truly is yet to come. This isn't Trump's campaign. It is ours. Trump is just the speartip.
You're post is distinguished from other Trump fantasists in it's lack of spelling mistakes and overall decent grammar. However, that's as good as it gets.
Eric has done a fine job of ripping to shreds your 'the election was stolen' nonsense. All I would perhaps add is, don't you also think it slightly odd that election fraud only happened in states that Trump lost? Mmmmmmmm. Who would have thunk it?
However, I would like to focus on another part of your rant starting with the idea that Trump will rid us all of 'diseased and corrupt institutions'. What 'diseased and corrupt institutions' are we talking about. The law? The media? Public servants? The FBI? The Church? The police? The WHO, NATO? All of them?
I would proffer that the only 'diseased and corrupt institutions' are companies run by self-interested billionaires who are the real danger to the vast majority of us. With the singular goal of getting their taxes reduced or their dodgy business dealings ignored, they plead their 'similarity' to the common man by playing him like a fiddle through fear-mongering, trans/homo/being different phobia, warped religious doctrine, xenophobia and racism. The latter of course being nicely packaged as patriotism.
If history has shown us anything (and it certainly should have by now) it's that those that aspire to undermine democracy and the rule of law have invariably produced some of the cruelest and most in-humane societies ever to grace this fair planet. And as far as promising the 'first true freedom any of us have ever known in our lifetimes', well I've felt pretty free the whole of my considerable years. This idea that things haven't got better over the years is simply nonsense perpetuated by those with an agenda and lapped up but the failures of society. The MAGA brigade are just unhappy people, fighting an imaginary war for what they once deemed as 'better times'. The better times where there all along. They just missed it or were too stupid to take advantage.
Trump isn't just 'the speartip (sic)' he's the puppet, the jester, the circus clown. He's the easy ride to what a very small group of people want (money and power) and the genius of it all is that they've managed to convince you that it's exactly the opposite; that the ONLY party holding their feet to the fire (the Dems in case you are wondering) are the true enemy.
It would be genius if it wasn't just so terrifying.

Do you enjoy Premium economy vs Business class
I have found in some cases (Philippines airlines) there is not much difference between business class and premium economy, except of course no lounge access and different food menu
A flight to Manila is only 3 1/2 hours from Bangkok so you will not see much difference in BC to PE but on long-haul flights the difference is considerable - BC lounge before travelling, priority boarding, flat bed seats (the most important), much better food (served when you want it, not when they want to serve it), limitless drinks and snacks etc. You even get a pair of pajamas and a 'comfort kit' with most airlines.
I would never travel on a flight that is more than 6 hours other than in BC.

"Refused abortions" and "voting rights for minorities" clearly shows your extreme left wing ideology - I wont bother trying to correct your views. But for those that are genuinely not puppets of the far left Democrats in USA and those other mad left Govts all around the world (like in Scotland) I will offer this link - try to read it impartially and not from a viewpoint of cognitive bias.
Was Hitler Really Right-Wing? | Mises Institute
The essence of right wing is personal freedoms and accountability with minimal State control of the people's economic and social lives - Reagan was classic right wing. The essence of the left wing is moderation of personal liberties and freedoms though Government intervention and the control of most aspects of people's econoomic and social lives - Clinton was classic left wing.
Progressive and Woke is the left - Authoritarian and Freedoms is the right. Left is about equality of outcomes - Right is about equality of opportunities. When you view those ideals, it is clear that a bit of both is the ideal balance, and that is why we basically have 2 parties in many western countries.
Hitler's political ideologoies were the worst of the far right and the far left. To state the Nazi Party did not start as left wing and also keep those centralised controls over the people's economic and social lives is delusional - as is it delusional to also state that they did not adopt the worst of the far right.
Right-wing politics - Wikipedia Take a read - it is interesting read and could enlighten some people. Everyone that does not agree with lewft wing political ideologies is not a far-right Nazi, but that it is much used criticism thrown by the left wing these days - especially when criticised with facts and logic about their latest silly ideaology which they want to enshrine in laws - which in Scotland right now they have done and called them 'hate speech laws'. Have you not read 1984 or Animal Farm? Perhaps you did not learn the lessons on offer. Big Brother is very much a left wing construct.
You really are going all in with this 'Hitler wasn't right wing' stance aren't you? Granted you can say the early days of the Nazi's was probably more centrist than right-wing but with the mass killing of gypsies, the disabled, intellectuals, blacks, disobedient civilians, gays and of course 6 million Jews, I think we can safely say he veered ever so slightly to what we know view as extreme right-wing.
And there lies the rub; what right-wing we saw even up to Reagan times has changed dramatically and whatever noble, centrists policies that gave us a '........bit of both' has now firmly been taken over by the extremists and the racists. I don't conflate anyone who does 'not agree with lewft (sic) wing political ideologies' as being 'a far-right Nazi' but then again I'm not the one trying to convince this forum that Hitler was more centrist and perhaps even left-leaning rather than right wing. Perhaps we can then agree that the term we are looking for is 'extreme right', which encapsulates racism, xenophobia and extreme nationalism.

Left wing Governments are the ones that imposed the most draconian and harshest rules during Covid and they were all in favour of the removal of people's rights. Left wing Governments all over the world are becomming more and more draconian in their imposition of Laws to force the People to 'comply' with their centralised ideologies. China is not far-right. Nth Korea is not far-right. Russia is not far right. Muslim countries are not far right. What is happening in Scotland is the reality of a left-wing Government - they just get worse and worse over time.
Hitler's Party was named the National Socialist German Workers Party - they were yuet another variation of the far-left. There is only one thing that is the clear and absolute differentiater of left-wing from right-wing Goverments - and that is People's rights and freedoms. Whether those 'rights' come from a God or from a Constitution or from Both - the right wing political parties are very much in favour of giving People rights and freedoms. Left wing political parties are in favour of centralised committees making the rules, and that always results in the removal of People's rights and freedoms, when they conflict with their own ideologies. The political world is turning back to the right because more and more People are realising what is what and who is who. Maybe the reality of what is happening in Scotland will make more People realise the truth.
You really went all out there didn't you sunshine? 'Hitler's Party was named the National Socialist German Workers Party - they were yet another variation of the far-left' Are you being serious? I think you would struggle to be more far-right than the actual Nazi's.
You trying to conflate misguided but essentially well-meaning Scottish politicians with the Nazi's is some of the most extreme gaslighting we have seen on this site (and that's saying something).
And don't get me started on 'right wing political parties are very much in favour of giving People rights and freedoms. Do you want to try that statement on the women who are being refused abortions or the GOP's continued gerrymandering and erosion of voting right for minorities? That is some echo chamber you inhabit.
A ridiculous post that deserves complete derision.

I think we all know where his and the Phea Thai's extreme views on drugs is coming from and it's not from any objective viewpoint.
'In February 2003, the Thai government, under then Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, launched a 'war on drugs', purportedly aimed at the suppression of drug trafficking and the prevention of drug use. In fact, a major outcome of this policy was arbitrary killings. In the first three months of the campaign there were some 2800 extrajudicial killing.'

17 minutes ago, Wobblybob said:We'll take that as a I cannot answer it, you made the statement that Yousaf speech wasn't racist, it seems you are outnumbered here with your cheap tawdry point scoring.
He's not outnumbered as I also agree that context is important and 45 seconds of a speach shouldn't determine the whole speach. Humza Yousaf was pointing out the extraodinary amount of white people holding very senior roles in Scotland BUT Scotland IS 95% white (as opposed to 80% in England) so it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise that the vast majority of senior jobs would be filled by white people BUT to have quite so many as he pointed out could also be construed as instutional racism. It's hard to say as you would also need to know how many non-whites applied for these jobs and whether ethnicity played a part in the decision making process. I agree with RuamRudy though that those with an agenda (like JonnyF and perhaps yourself) are trying to spin that as racist against whites when the simple answer is Yousaf was just stating facts in an effort to highlight possible racism issues that were happening during the time of George Floyd. As he said 'it is not enough to not be racist....... people, must be anti-racist".
As for the new law, I think it's ill-thought out and open to misinterpretation. It was made with good intentions (who doesn't want less hate speach), but the devil is in the detail and the detail is far too ambiguous and too easily open for abuse. Let's see how it unfolds though.

DO NOT just transfer the money over before you have spoken to your bank as they will just give you the bog standard exchange rate. You can negotiate preferable exchange rates directly with your bank (I do it all the time with Bangkok Bank). If they refuse just shop around to see who is offering the best rate. Then tell your bank you will take your business elsewhere unless they match or do better.
The only caveat is how much they want your business. I use BB for my business as well as personal so they are always bending over backwards to accommodate. Just remember they are a business like any other business and should act accordingly.
P.S. Talking to the right person is also key.

You get picked up at the gate, stuck on a buggy and fastracked through immigration.
