Hello Thaivisa user's.

Just woundering what the best way of storing rice is?

I live in a village near Surin (Issan),I think we get two rice crops a year here.

It seems that once the village has cut the rice,they sell the lot to anyone that whats to buy it.

Then as time goes by,they have to go to the city and buy it back at a raised price.

I was woundering if I could build,or buy a container to store the rice,to save me going and getting it from the city.

Am I best to make a large stainless steal container,or do you know of a better way?

I know you don't want rats,mice, etc, eatting there way through the goods.

If you have any advice or any other information I haven't thought of,please let me know.

Was woundering if anybody knows of a nice open quite hotel/guesthouse/spa around the surin area?

I am heading out to surin soon,to see the wifes family. We would like to have some days to are selfs,to just relax and have some quite time.

If you know of anywhere like this,it would be great if you could give us some information.

Up in Chaing Rai there is a hotel called the Red rose,its a really cool place. All the rooms are themed,Fantasy,Boxing,space travel,woodland etc.

Is there anything like that in Bangkok?

Or do you know of a hotel that gives you something a little different? Maybe large rooms,cool lay outs,themed rooms or just some where that you think is a little bit special!!!

I am staying about 70km from Surin. I don't know that much about the place,I will get there for a look around when I can.

Does any body know of motorbike shops in or around Surin? I am looking for a 400cc or bigger.

I need to get my Thai girl friend a passport.

I am leaving the UK in Feb to go marry her in Thailand. I want to apply for a tourist visa,so I can bring her Back to the UK,to stay with me for a period of time.

I have only got 1 month in Thailand to sort out,Passport,marriage,visa. I know this is not a lot of time,so if I can make it run smoothly with your good help,this would be great!

Where in Bangkok can I get her a passport,what I/D would she need and how long would a passport take to process?

If you can help me that would be brill.

would it be possible for me to get my thai girlfriend a passport and a tourist visa within three weeks when I go and see her in november this year?

I was dating with her for 7 months last year when I lived in Thailand. I have 3 months of bank statements showing money I have sent her,I have phone bills showing loads of calls to her,I have photos of us together and me with her family.

I have a house in England where she can stay and I have money in the bank so she can surport herself.

We would only be staying in the UK for 3 to 4 months.

would it be possible and how much would it cost me.

If you could help me that would be fantastic,I am so tired of looking for a answer to my question.
