Hi, I am visiting Thailand for six weeks and need the low down on this address registration business. I will be staying at the family home where I have yellow house reg doc, I will be doing short weekends away to hotels and a couple of weekends out of the country. Do I need to do anything on arrival at the airport? Do I need to go to immigration in between stays? Or do these rules only apply to non imm visa holders? I am a out of the loop since I left Bkk, I will be using 30 day entry stamps. Thanks in advance.

Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a place where I can get my fingerprints taken, I will supply the document on which they will be printed, I just need a place where someone knows what they are doing, is it possible at a police station? Or an embassy? I am Canadian. Thanks in advance.

Have you ever taught in your home country? It's not just teachers in Thailand that can be xxxxers to their colleagues.

Is there a date expirey on prof of address documents? I've got a inland revenue letter from 2014 showing my address in Thailand. Would that save me getting WP translated? My current employer is closed for Xmas and I'd like to get this moving.

Thanks, is the application made at Trendy Tower? How does one go about booking an appointment as it all seems to be for visas from the page I saw.

Can you clarify what is accepted for proof of address. Would a work permit suffice?

Hi
I've trawled the site and have come across conflicting information. I'd really appreciate it if someone could give me a lowdown on current requirements from the UK side and where application are lodged. I am married to a Thai and am a UK passport holder. Youngster was born in Bkk a few weeks back. Any help is most appreciated. Thanks in advance..

Hi
I work at an international school and am moving to another international school in the summer. I am currently on a non B extension until late August. The new position starts in early August. Do I have to cancel my current extension and get a new non B so I can get a new work permit? I heard that if you have the 5 year teaching license (which I have) from Khursapha then the non B could be transferred without being replaced. Can anyone shed any light on this?
Thanks

I divorced amicably in the UK, having married in Thailand. No kids and no property to split. £400 I recall and took about 10 weeks. I did it at the family court in Putney. Was much easier than hiking back to Bangkok with her.

So I can't have my Sunday brunch at bistro 33 with inclusive alcohol anymore? And I can't get a happy hour pint before 5pm anymore?

Before you consider staying out for two weeks take note of the visa expire date as you need the use the third entry before that date.

First time I came to Thailand was in 2002 and people were smoking on the flight, direct with garuda between lgw and bkk

Hi,
Can anyone confirm what documents are needed from the seller when I buy a motorcycle and does he need to sign anything in the green book (he has WP). Any insight into the process is warmly received. TIA
