  1. Ratchada Cabaret is bright, loud and vivid show performed by gender-challenged individuals, walking around the stage with pop sound track dressed to kill average dioptic tourist at his mid forties.

Pirce for agents is 300 and for walk-in 800 baht. After show picture with performer = 200 baht a shot. Most of performers are non-hookable.

If you want to have a good price for the show - ask any tour guide around the show.

Basic package for asian tourists is "show + sea food restaurant + shopping at Robinson Ratchada"

Every taxi driver knows the place, and probably will have some % to take you there.

    Good luck.

Meanwhile - if you would like to have something even more screaming and bright, T-boys free - then cross the street and get to Siam Niramit. Great show that proves what Forest Gump said " If you cannot sing right, sing loud". figures....

thanks for your kind information. Is that one located behind Dubliner bar?

  2. My maid is living in somewhere near SUK 26 and my aparment is located in SUK 49, so that she has no need to spend a lot of time on commute. Normally, she arrives my place around 9 oclock and leaves for another working place around 12.

She is very experienced and I am considering if I need give her 5000B in order to keep her.

  3. Recently, I have found a very good maid, modest, effecient and quiet. She works for me 3 hours per day, 5 days per week (cleaning, ironing). I have offered her 4000B/montn, Is this salary suitable?

    Thanks.

    GR

I am going to live in BKK for 2 years. In the first year, I just have tourist visa.

Can I get health insurance as a tourist?

Which one is the best so far?

    Thanks for your help

There is no simple answer. It depends on too many factors and I'm still getting quotes which vary so much it's ridiculous. However, the Bumrungrad International Hospital sent the attached list which may be of interest. Best of luck and don't forget to post your results.

    Their email is: [email protected]

Thanks, I have contacted some of them and got quotations form AXA PPP healthcare,Good health, and BUPA international, I also asked a quotation from BUPA THAILAND. Reading all the document is frustrating, I guess I need see doctors before making decision.

  5. I know it might belong to the section of "Thailand Travel Forum", but I prefer to ask here since there are so many warm-hearded friends and I have got used to stay 'the ladies forum'. I know this is against the 'RULL' of administration of forum, I promise it is the last time.

Okay, come back to my question.

A frined of mine suggested me to go a place called 'Nature Restort' located in South of Pattaya but he did not give me too much information about this. Are there somebody know this place? And do you think it is a good idea to go there in the Mid of April?

    Thanks a lot, GR

  9. My bf and I are just on the last stages of putting our visa package together ( to the US and Canada for a month visit when I go home to visit this summer). I have researched it for three months now (check out the visa forum its lot of help) we have included invitation letters from both my parents (one is in the US and one in Canada), letters from his work ( hes a construction worker), his school (Adult ed. for his M1-6 that he didnt get before), proof of our 2 year relationship ie. plane tickets, pictures from the tsunami (we were both injured), general pictures of us, pics of me with his family and friends, proof that I lived and worked in thailand, a letter from me, a letter on behalf of his mother (who is illiterate) from the head of his village, A letter from his English teacher/my Thai teacher who has known us for the majority of our relationship verifying how long we have known eachother. etc etc. It has been quite trying and I am just praying he gets it. But just be prepared to do research and put some time and money into it. Good Luck.

Meme, congratulations. I have remembered you asked questions about your bf visa couple of months ago. Finally, you got it! Happy for you
