  1. Last time I checked, Switzerland were one of only 6 countries in Europe accepting Sinovac, seem to recall Spain being one also.
  2. True, waste of time rocking up with 400 signatures on a piece of paper. Need to present a reasonable game plan for a soft/gradual lifting of restrictions , as they are too lazy/dumb to come up with anything constructive. Just easy way out is to say NO. Then they-Governors people- can present it as if it is their idea.
  3. I think it is safe to say, we all know this is a good idea but will never be enforced. Just wish they would also go after those retarded idiots the drive those super loud "look at me" vehicles. There is just no will to ever do anything about the road death rate, air or noise pollution here in Thailand. I often wonder, with regard to fatal RTA, what percentage of vehicles are unroadworthy??
  4. If ya want to try, they are the ones used in the superb 99B breakfast special at Robin Hood Tavern in Pattaya.
  5. I have the exact same issue with sausages in Pattaya, tried all, no joy. Even to the point of going to restaurant's for breakfast and saying without the sausages. I have tried all the ones mentioned on here, no joy Then bingo
  6. I do reckon a controlled opening of alcohol sales should be tried, say open air restaurants for example. Everyday, I pass by several places that are busy, cannot believe it would make that much of an extra risk to health if alcohol was being served.
  7. Same here, nothing but the utmost respect for him, should be a stand named after him at Ibrox. RIP
  8. So 50K in the UK, thats getting worrying. Any indication if its mainly the unvaccinated or schoolkids?
  9. I am considering the Cross right now, Like the look. I am also considering the Honda HRV but looks like they are waiting to launch a new one towards end of year, so will wait and see. I had a Hyundai Santa Fe a few years back, in Europe and was well impressed with it. Is the Tucson similar and is there a Hyundai garage in Pattaya?
  10. Dont follow this sport, but any Sydney guys know how Colin O'Roirdan is getting on, he hails from my home patch in Ireland?
  11. Really? Whats to stop bands starting at 5 and finishing at 7-30???
  12. Thats a steady decline for the past few weeks, so good news. I have no issues with the 9pm curfew, and even if bars were open, would be no big deal, just head out early if needing a good skinfull. With the numbers falling, surely they can give something-Massage and spas to fully operate, booze with outdoor dining, for example, sort of like a controlled opening, see how that goes??? Jomtiem was busy this weekend, lots of Thais came to the beach, was good to see places busy, most were just boozing on the roadside/back of pick up trucks, as the would do normally.
  13. A good authentic Greek, Turkish and Lebanese would be my 3. Also, being a lover of Indian food, would like to see Sri Lanka and Nepal restaurants here. I know there are some already here in Pattaya but far from authentic.
  14. Your not wrong. Nonsense this place now, ever hear those loud speakers all around outskirts of Pattaya, blasting out Government propaganda 4 or 5 times a day, similar to something from a place like North Korea.
  15. Same here, planning to do 3 months next year on the islands. Will leave Thailand as soon as I have the second jab and wont return until all this quarantine nonsense has been removed. Just dot prepared to spend one night, never mind 14 or 10. Its retarded. Those I really feel for are the thousands of Thai nationals who live abroad, are fully vaccinated, and are required to do ASQ if they want to return to visit family. These are the first people that should be removed from ASQ requirements. Look after yer own first.
  16. Could very well be that around 10K is going to be the flat line figure.
  17. Anyone know where I can get a tempered glass piece cut for top of a coffee table in Pattaya?
  18. Now that is interesting. Is there a certain amount of snobbery attached to anything made in China??
