  1. It's not about who uses them at all.  It is about how they are used.  If they are productive applications the users are probably a little smarter.  If it to take food porn pictures to post on social media, it does not matter how smart the phone or the user is.

The really smart ones, IMHO, are the ones who get someone else to use those computers to be productive for them, and don't have to do it themselves.

  2. I am not sure why anyone would use Airbnb except in an attempt to try and save a few dollars?  You rent a truly unseen room, only have limited resource to get your money back if the place turns out to be a dump or in a bad location.  The room may not be cleaned properly between customers or ever for that matter, and then you have to deal with refund policies if you aren't satisfied.

Airbnb offers some great guarantees but it seems to get a lot of really bad press.  Good luck.

  3. Have you been swimming in any of the beaches around the area?  The water is normally polluted and you could have picked up some type of parasite.  These can be found in both polluted sea water and in rivers and ponds. My first bet would be as others have said.  Bed bugs or dust mites, or even fleas.  All are  really hungry eaters and seem to prefer the lower body areas.

  4. I always have a good laugh when I see people that insist it is their right to access the internet in any way that they choose.  You subscribed to a service and your provider only has to provide service to you as they specify in their terms of service.  Any other attempts by you to use their system or equipment in ways that they don't allow is your problem you, not theirs.

By the way, if you think your service provider or any other service or web site you access on the internet is spying on you, don't be alarmed.  They are spying on you, capturing your data usage and history and profitably selling that information.  It's called Data mining and marketing companies love it.  If you want to hide or mask your internet usage, you really can't.  Just don't use the internet.

Damn right I will talk bad. I have to take half a day off work and a cab, which I will pay. I am also betting 11/10 on that they will be clueless when I arrive there. I'm not an idiot and I have an MBA and ACCA stuff.Of course they are not gonna send me the money with a big cake and a kiss. It's one of those careless things that some Thai cash loader or clerk did. There is no way around it but to go as discussed. In some countries I might collect an apology and ?"Bank Error in yr Favour Collect 20 dollars".

It's another example of TIT solipsism and callousness. The girl had no idea of me going 3 miles in the rain to collect small money--i'm just a stupid farang. Just as Thais will sometimes arrange dates, romantic or otherwise, and pull out without telling you or because the buffalo's dog is sick. These things have a knock-on effect. I have to cancel something else which disrupts 2 other people, whose work will be delayed and will no doubt be moody the next day. Thais do not generally realise that actions make bigger consequences Last year I waited all day for TRUE to sort my router, but they were badly organised and came 2 days late. When I asked 300GBP for loss of earnings, they laughed. Just my bad luck, but why do we put up with this?

Mistakes using ATM machines happen everywhere on earth.  Not just in Thailand  It is just a machine after all.You are making this sound like they are personally singling you out to eff with you.

Are you sure? How would the IO even know the exchange rate(s)? I'm sure, they, approximately, know how many baht 1,000 US dollars can buy, but how would they know if you came with Swiss francs or, God forbid, Philippine pesos...

How about, if you came with 350 euros and 350 US dollars?

The internet is a wonderful thing.  If they have questions they can always ask.

I fail to see what dual citizenship does in support of his brazen escapade. I guess it depends which embassy comes to his "aid". God knows why his US pp was confiscated. Seems like the type of bloke that likes to live on the edge. 6month in Khlom Prem will show him the other side of life!

Remember, he only said his US passport was confiscated in Cambodia.  We only have his word for it I guess.

  8. As an American, he is required to pay taxes to the American Government, no matter where he is earning his money or where he is based.  Whichever company pays him for his clicks or advertising are required to report this income to the USA- IRS department.  He gets an exemption on foreign income and foreign income taxes paid, but if he is not paying foreign taxes, he owes the IRS for any income generated worldwide.  It may suck to be him if he has not been paying taxes to the American Government.

  9. Step 1.  Immediately freeze all bank and investment accounts in Thailand

Step 2 . Issue a notice in the news about a 7 day warrant being served.  If he does not appear all money is seized.

Step 3.  Place liens on all property and assets in Thailand and a lien on his private plane in Singapore.

Step 4 Issue a notice that all property will be seized if he fails to appear in the next 7 days.

Step 5.  Begin by placing liens on all property help by relatives for aiding a fugitive.  Begin seizing these assets 7 days later.

  10. Perhaps this line in your question sums up the situation the best.

    You said.

"this was all in opposit with her dad s funeral where drag me to do all ceremonial things with her

    together"

Maybe your girlfriend felt you weren't really interested in attending her Dads funeral since you had to be dragged to all the ceremonial things and she was cutting you a break by not dragging you along to all the funeral ceremonies for her Mom?

A bit cheeky on their part charging that much.

The NT$ and the Baht are almost equal in value:   1 TWD =1.12299THB

They were over charging and getting a little extra on the currency difference.

In Taiwan the normal rate used to be 7/11

NTD7000 short time and NTD 11,000 long time so they were offering everyone a bargain to start the New Year off with a BANG.
