  1. I just did my retirement renewal last week. On the 19th of this month my 90days is due.

I did it online last time, but when i try now it wont accept, keep telling me to recheck the details, which i done, and all are filled in correct.

So i think one need to go there the 1st time after the yearly renewal, and then onwards can be online.

can someone please verify if this is the case.

  2. @Peteblank if you want to unbank your money, then i highly suggest you take a look at Nexo wallet.  *Link edited out*

Not only will you be able more interest that you will ever with a normal bank, but you will also be able to borrow money much easier and better pay back rates.

If you are worried about crypto being unstable, then simply put your money in stable coins like USDT which always stay same as the US $

  3. I would like to download the application form for residence cert,  to fill out at home.

Can someone tell me the correct TM number or the residence cert to download for residence cert to renew drivers licence.

    Many Thanks

That message comes up for various reasons.

It can mean you entered some incorrect info on page one. You should only complete the required fields marked with a red asterick (other than your first and middle name. Use the drop down menu for your nationality and the calendar for you date of entry. Be sure your entered all of your TM6 number (example AB12345).

It can up if you are not within the 15 day window for online reporting.

That message has been discussed many times  in the pinned topic for online reporting at the top of this forums main page.

  5. If either the online or the mobile app for  90 days reporting was working there would have been even less people at immigration, but for the past month  the Thailand immigration wepsite online services page https://www.immigration.go.th/en/#serviceonline   does not work when i click on on the 90 days reporting option  it redirects to https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn90online/online/tm47/TM47Action.do  which shows;

"Failure of Web Server bridge: No backend server available for connection: timed out after 10 seconds or idempotent set to OFF or method not idempotent."

When i try the mobile app which was working at one point, i am now greeted with a message "CANNOT CONNECT"

Why cant the Thailand immigration hire a competent programmer to maintain the website and mobile apps.????????????????

  6. Thank you to everyone for their input.

The reason i am not going the 800K in the bank route is because I run a online business and the revenue i generate goes to a overseas bank, and from their i transfer to my kasikorn account to pay the mortgage, car, university fees for daughter and other living expenses. My income is around 70 -100K a month, but some months i did not transfer the full 65K, as I used my debit card to pay for stuff.

I will continue to use the income method, and if their is a issue because some months i did not transfer 65K, then i will just use another more convenient, less questions asked method.

  7. I would like to renew my existing retirement visa using the option of having 65,000+ income per month over 12 months.

My question is, does it need to be 65K every single month for 12, or should the average income over 12 months be not less than 65K.

Some months i had less than 65K, but other months allot more, however when all 12 months are added together it exceeds 900K income for the year which mean the average monthly was more than 65K.

Also what should i ask the bank for when i go get this proof of income doc.

    Appreciate your help in advance

  8. Thai tourism was struggling before the Carona Virus outbreak, then it was blamed on Brexit and the Thai Bhat that was too strong, Carona virus just added fuel to an already burning fire, now no one is blaming it on Brexit or Strong Bhat, now all the blame is on the missing Chinese who in any way stopped coming BEFORE carona virus.

Now i see headlines how tourist operators are benefiting from the forgotten European market, that is now seen as welcoming.

Thailand should stop blaming everything and everyone else and start treating all tourist equally and with respect, placing all there eggs in one basket is now the cause of the problem.

    From my reading , No.

And its "No" because you wont be on an O-A Visa if you are already living in Thailand , because you have used that Visa up as soon as you arrived ,  and you  will be seeking an "Extension based on  Retirement" , and that is  not a Visa.

    Its a 'permission to stay'...

So my Lawyer says , plus many on here.

    Great, thank u
