It's what you have now if I'm understanding what you got correctly.

Each entry gives you 90 days, you can go for the 12-month extension to any of those entries.

If you have the financials in place do your extension now.

Sorry, I thought I had to change visa (from ME to SE): if I understand, I can get the one year extension straight from my ME visa...Thanks.

  2. Hi all,

after several years on extensions of marriage visa, due to bank issues (400K not on time), I had to go to Savannakhet and get a multiple entries marriage visa in March. Last entry on Sept. 27, so I have to do a border bounce before Dec. 27; I am in Chiang Mai and Mae Sai border is closed as far as I know, and I'm not keen on flying to Laos and pay 40$ for a couple of hours...

So, my question: is there any way to switch my ME visa into a single entry marriage visa (at the IO), and then apply for the one year extension as before?...

    Thanks for your pertinent answers.

  3. Be aware unless you are a British national: I am French (not tourist, family in LOS) and had a flight from Bordeaux to BKK with a 4 hours transit (no airport change) in LGW on Dec. 23rd; all paperwork OK, PCR test negative, PLF 24 hours before: I was denied boarding the plane in Bordeaux (by the french border cops saying I would be rejected by the Brits), thus also loosing my connecting flight: the reason?: no IMPERIOUS(!) reason (i.e. living in Britain, relative death, ...), a transit is not one; of course NO NOTICE from the British authorities, agency or airlines...I had to urgently book a costly KLM flight with a stop in AMS... No refund of any kind possible, they say all my fault!!!... 1000 euro vanished!...

So up to you, but for me UK is a NO GO!...

  4. hi all, I just registered at Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai by e-mail: very quick and easy: only fill a succinct form, submit and a few minutes later get a confirm message for the 2th of July, earliest slot available...looks more serious than Mor Phrom and co...cross my fingers and wait 10 days...I'll keep you posted...BTW, big thanks to Anchadian for the info and the link: great job...have a nice day...

  5. ...had a similar experience in CMIO for a marriage extension two weeks before: arrived 1pm, hardly 20 people waiting there, n°2 in the queue, called less than 30mn later, staff quick and friendly (what a difference from the one hour stressfull interview with a surly female officer chasing down the slightest detail to send you back home and come back the next day, after having queued lenghthy hours since early morning alongside a bunch of angry farangs, retired, students, hippies, noisy Chinese, let alone Myanmar workers all mixed up, that we had to go through some years before!), 1900 baht, photo (unrecognizable!), under consideration(!!!) stamp, 90 days done, restaurant in front of a nice cold Leo at 2.30 pm...hats off! (thanks Big Joke?)...have a nice day...
